Walter Football OT rankings updated 4-18

Defenderdawg : 4/18/2015 2:15 pm
1 Flowers
"Multiple teams told WalterFootball.com that they've given Flowers a first-round grade - some put him in the top 20. Many project Flowers to start out at right tackle, and they'll see if can move to left tackle after some development."

2 Peat
"In speaking with sources, it sounds like Peat has a wide range on where he could go in the first night of the 2015 NFL Draft. Peat could be a potential top-16 pick, or he could slide into the 20s."

3. Collins
"In speaking with multiple NFL teams, one says Collins has a second-round grade and views him as a guard. Another feels Collins can be a very good guard who plays right away and possibly develops into a tackle, while a third team feels Collins is a right tackle who could go late in the first round, but more likely in the second round. They all feel he needs to improve his technique."

I think the giants
area junc : 4/18/2015 2:48 pm : link
want 2 land Flowers in the 2nd round
Daryl Williams strikes me as Giant type of pick

Not sure they'd take him at 40, but could see it (could also see them taking D. Smith or Fisher there).
Can you imagine getting La'el Collins in round 2?

That would scream value.

We can dream. Shelton at 9 Collins at 40 yesssssss
If you read all the Walter Football offensive line write-ups

on that link, the only OL player who is a consensus to go top 10 is Scherff. They list Scherff as the #1 G but say he can play Tackle. All the rest are maybe top 15, but could be late 1st or rd 2, etc.

I want Scherff. Let him and Pugh battle it out for RT with the loser playing Guard. That gives our OL the best chance. I believe Scherff is the "surest thing" and safest pick of all the OL.
Wow, even I think La'el is a first rounder
JonC : 4/18/2015 3:28 pm : link
but the talk of him at #9 is still a big reach, imv. Flowers would be as well, but getting a sure-fire tackle with a big upside works for me. Still dig PEAT.

not necessarily. it could just mean that that is exactly his value, and he's been overhyped by the media & non-team-employed analysts.

not to single out collins, but it happens to certain players every year...

not getting Flowers or Collins at #40.

But much to the chagrin of many here, I think we may get Flowers at #9.

I'm beginning to think it's Peat or Flowers. Not thrilled, but I'll trust in Reese for the 1st rounders.
I noticed he ranked

Brandon Scherff as the top guard in the draft, and not with the OTs
almost even more than #9

I'm pretty pumped for the value I'm almost certain we'll come away with in the 2nd round

Parker or Ray?
Lets trade our second
Salty Meats : 4/18/2015 10:31 pm : link
and third round picks to move up and pick Gurley. Ok let me go back to watching the WNBA.
