Jacob Degrom vs Mat Latos, 7pm WPIX
"The third of the four-game series between the Mets and Marlins at Citi Field will feature two pitchers off to starkly different starts. The Mets start Jacob deGrom, who is coming off his first win and owns a 1.46 ERA. Marlins starter Mat Latos has lasted a combined 4 2/3 innings in his first two starts with his new team.
Things to know about this game
• Mets manager Terry Collins said he will look to give left fielder Michael Cuddyer a rest at some point this weekend and get Kirk Nieuwenhuis a start. Cuddyer, 36, started the first 11 games. He's had better success against Tim Koehler (.333 average), who will start Sunday for the Marlins, than Latos (.222 average). But he does own one home run against Latos in nine career at bats."

tda sat last night probably plays both tonight and tommorrow

I'd give him the day off today since TdA will presumably rest tomorrow for the day game after night game.

Also, off day Monday -- I'm pretty sure TdA wil catch deGrom and Harvey.
Agree...the dude really needs to start hitting. The 11 BB's is great and all, but he's one of our power hitters. He's being paid to drive in runs.
I'm getting a little tired of the excuse "well, he's hitting the ball hard" or "he's just been unlucky." It's been 10 games...you are not "unlucky" for 10 games.
Come on Curtis...get back to that Spring Training form!
Still don't understand why it takes so long.
Im sure we will but thats exactly the type of "curtis" that we were hoping to avoid.
I don't think he'll ever hit enough to be an all star, but he certainly doesn't need to hit much to be just as valuable in terms of WAR, so maybe.
Things are looking sweet in Mets land.
Marlins arent getting any breaks, right Keith?
Hey it's a Mets tradition (grin)
Looks like Flores is finding his stroke.
Lol.
He hasn't been a portrait of health.
Let's not proclaim "mission accomplished" after 11 games.
Nice. Now he's gonna tear something. Sweet jinx.

Lol. Yup.
I really never watched him a whole lot during his career. He is a pleasure to watch play the game. Great addition to the roster.
He should have never used him this game. He doesn't have to use Torres every damn game

Might be a mistake keeping him in there

He's also a sherpa.
