1. La’el Collis - ol - The best overall ol in the draft. He fits the Giants needs like a glove. He’s a nasty run blocker who finishes his blocks and has quick feet in pass protection. He’ll start at guard from day 1 and move over to tackle whenever the Giants and Beatty part ways.
2. Preston Smith - de - Plays both the run and pass well. He has both the strength and athleticism to do everything on the dl. Note his exceptional cone and shuttle scores at the combine.
3. Cody Prewitt - fs - Has the size and the mentality to play center field. He closes fast and tackles fairly well.
4. Justin Hardy - wr - He’s not the biggest or the fastest receiver, but one of the smartest. He runs very good routes.
5. Kevin White - cb - A short corner who plays bigger because of his strength and his know how.
6. Blake Bell - te - College qb converting to te. A project with ability, good size and decent athleticism.
7a. Tyler Varga - rb/fb - Small for fb, but has good running and receiving skills.
7b. Jamil Douglas - og - better pass protector than run blocker. Needs to get stronger.
