UFC on FOX. Machida vs Rockhold

Rockhold is just a beast and Machida looks in fantastic shape likely making a final push at a title shot... It's a very touch fight to call... I'm expecting a 5RD back and forth battle..

But PVZ is scrappy as hell... Clearly her gymnastic base helps her greatly...

destroyed Felice. I was impressed.

I couldn't stand Felice on the show.

As for your point about them being hot...Paige is freakin gorgeous IMO.

But I agree. Machida is just almost impossible to stop. Rockhold has looked grest since his loss.

Paige is really tough. Insane cardio and while green looks to have a great career ahead of her.

Camozzi is going to get killed. Jacare's standup has improved so much. And no one w a brain wants to go to the mat w him.

Jacare is an animal, but a 2nd win over mid-tier opponent... Won't get him a title shot over the winner of tonight's main event... Nor should it, imo... Fact is he lost to Rockhold... If Rockhold beats Machida, he absolutely deserves the next shot at Weidman...

It was supposed to have two title fights... Dillashaw got hurt and they had to push his rematch with Barao to the summer... Rory MacDonald was also supposed to fight Hector Lombard in a #1 contender fight but Lombard got popped for steroids... Rampage was also supposed to be on the card but last week Bellator got an injunction preventing him from fighting on the card...

Putting it together. He's long and good everywhere To be honest IMO I think all 3 guys have what it makes to beat each other. Jacare is the only one I'm not sure of on his feet as much but his ground is so good guys are good to respect his stand up a bit out of need anyway.

I feel bad for Souza. Not sure who they can give him but he can't wait 10 month for a shot. Especially after this one which was a glorified workout for him.

They probably remake the fight with Romero... It's the fight evrryone wanted to see...

I couldn't stand Herrig, either, or Carla Esparza, for that matter. I was rooting for Randa Markos.

Romero is dynamic on the take downs but who wants to be on the ground w Jacare? Hopefully it's soon. Since Jacre barely broke a sweat it's up to Yael. Could see that fight in two to three months.

And both have heavy hands... It would be fn regardless, but really interesting if it went to the ground... The most decorated wrestler against arguably the top BJJ specialist...

They're both huge MWs... Both very strong... I would say Rockhold is faster and more athletic... Weidman has more power in his hands... Rockhold has more dynamic striking with his kicking arsenal... Weidman is a better wrestler, but the grappling is a dead heat, IMO... Both are nasty grapplers... Probably only second only to Jacare at MW... Weidman is more durable... I think you would need a sledgehammer to hurt him... And I think he has a mental edge...

Against Kennedy. Also not sure he won't pop hot. A monster w a ton of muscle mass. If he's going to win its IMO a KO IN RD 1 or early RS 2.

As for the next title fight younare correct. Huge guys at 185. I bet both walk around at 225 And fight around 200-205. Weidman trains at Serra's so his BJJ is legit. I just trained w one of their guys a few weeks ago. Says he's got an insane gas tank. Great fight.

What's interesting is that all 3 top guys could have ended Anderson's run. Huge MWS. Long w good to great standup and top level grappling. Those three. Could make 185 interesting. I shouldnt count out Vitor who did know out Luke but age and lack of TRT i think dooms him.

Jacare is on the wrong side of 35, and has had speculation of juicing as well...

I wouldn't be shocked if Jacare pissed hot, he's packed on a ton of muscle during the last few years. While his grappling was always elite, he didn't outmuscle and ragdoll opponents before the muscle gain.

Rockhold is mega-confident, a matchup with Weidman, and at MSG (!!) would be a monster bout. That elbow he nailed Machida with just before the bell was wicked.

Nope. Machida looked overwhelmed by his size and strength. He actaully looked better against Jon Jones than he did against Rockhold Jist dominated on the ground. He's still a top tier fighter but he's below the top 3 guys now

Jon. It's amazing how these guys look better in their mid 30s isn't it? Well facing Romero it be two guys who most likely are juiced.
