and is the best OL. I see him now as the only OL consistently in the top 12. He may be BPA when we draft, is also a need pick, and can battle it out with Pugh for RT and G.
I love Scherff. I also would not be upset with Cooper, White. Ray, or Beasely.
I do not put Shelton on there because I don't know if he would be good in the 4-3 as much as he would the 3-4. 3-4 he could be pro bowler, 4-3, average dt.
It might depend on whether they want a tackle or a guard. If they don't feel good about Schwartz's durability and Jerry's ability, maybe they would go for Scherf. On the other hand, if they are thinking more about the future of the left tackle position, maybe they would go for Fisher.

Greg Cosell believes he fits better in a 43 two-gapping. Playing him strictly as 34 NT is a waste of his quickness when you're simply asking him to eat up space instead of letting him use his quickness to be disruptive and get into the backfield.
Wouldn't mind seeing the Giants go Scherff in round one and then Donovan Smith or Jake Fischer in round two or Ali Marpet in round three. I know the Giants have other positions that could use help, but bringing in two OL from the top three rounds would set up the OL for years to come.
The G projections are solely on his measureables. I think this is a good thing, it likely means he can play both. To use a stupid comparison, going by measureables Magic Johnson should have been a small forward not a point guard. I'm sure he would have been a great forward too, but he was also a great PG.
RE: Scherff has played nothing but tackle and dominated

It isn't just about measurables. He played against smaller DL in college who could not also compete with the fact Scherff had better coaching in college. That will not be the case in the NFL and there are red flags in Scherff's film that could spell trouble against the higher quality of opponents he will face in the NFL, especially at OT
I disagree with him. I think Shelton best fits as a nose in a 3-4. I will be surprised if a 4-3 team picks him.We will soon find out.
You disagree with Cosell who has watched tons more film on Shelton than you have?
Not everyone takes media opinions as gospel, some of us actually form our own, which I know is a foreign concept to you. Cosell also said RGIII was a much better QB prospect than Andrew Luck and had a better arm and was a better passer. He was dead fucking wrong. It happens.

Says the man who aside from Xs and Os expertise(which many of us were deficient in given the dearth of info out there until the internet, Pat Kirwan et al taught us what we know) has the track record slightly above Bossman..Bromley is slow and Lumpy. No wait, I've changed my mind(a few weeks or so later)...
You are an extremely neurotic, miseranle internet bully who believes through ranting and raving that you can cut people down to size because you probably know more about Xs and Os than most of us..Whoop-de-doo..You never see far more knowledgeable posters than you like dorgan, JonC, Anish et al try to cut other people down to size with their ranting..
Go see a fucking therapist and I ask you once again to refrain from addressing any post of mine and I will be more than happy never to respond to you again..Deal?
If the Giants really like one of these guys, we will find out soon enough. I have a feeling though that one of these guys will be there in the second round also. Its a fun time of the year though. I will add one more thing, if it were so much a given, an of this, then there would not be any room for discussion, people getting paid quite a bit and put a ton of time into it get it wrong, and the reason is because everyone does, and anyone who acts like they don't, is a liar.

dont fit spags scheme..he like to blitz and the dt must be able to get into backfield fast,.....shelton is a 3-4 nose tackle ...check out his career...stop hyping him up
