Would anybody have recommendations for comfortable shoes or boots? Something that would work for normal life and business casual? Many thanks in advance.
I bought a pair of very comfortable Boat Shoes from Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville label. Casual but neat, and fully acceptable footwear in this area. Available thru Sears.com and shipped to a nearby store.
Is a good brand. Not a fan of Rockport. Had a pair of the boat shoes & my feet would hurt after being in them for 3-4 hours.
If you are looking to get a pair for everyday use outside of work I would suggest the Kobe 10 or Nike Janoski max. I'm really big into shoes and those are the most comfortable I've ever worn.
If you are looking for something you can wear everyday I'd like into basically any pair of Cole Haan & if you can wear Khakis & a Polo to work I'd look at a pair of Sperry boat shoes. Can't really go wrong with any of the 4 I named. I can wear them for 8+ hours at work and my feet don't hurt at all at the end of the day.
I learned about these shoes about 5 years ago and will never buy anything else for daily use in the office. They are the most comfortable and durable shoes I have ever owned. link - ( New Window )
Their quality has declined. I'm on sales and on my feet all day. If you've never worn a pair of Ecco u need to try then on Can't speak to SAS but I'll look into them as it never hurts to try a pair of something. On.
I have two pair, black and brown, and I've used them for business for I can't say how many years - 10 or 12? They are broken in like bedroom slippers, but the soles are resilient enough to go jogging in if you wanted. But they look just like business shoes to the casual observer.
They're on sale this week for $19....

Agree with the ECCO shoes.
I like the Merrell hiking boots, too. Really comfortable and can use for work or every day use.
