I like SNF but it seems like we open with an NBC night game against Dallas every freaking year.
This is going to be 3 times in the last 4 seasons doing that and last year was a MNF opener against DET. 2011 was the last time we had a regular 1pm opener.
I feel like it's either the Cowboys in Dallas or against the Redskins.
2 years ago to start the season, i have no problem playing dallas on a sunday night but why week 1 again. it will get raitings no matter what weeek the giants play dallas
Yea, the same sub .500 team that has won 2 super bowls in the past 7 years, a team that has won 4 total super bowls and has been in existence for 90 years. I swear some of you guys are the biggest cry babies, its giants/cowboys sunday night to open the season and the amount of whining about this and prime time games in general is unreal. We owe those fucking cowboys an ass kicking for the past 2 seasons of not being able to beat them, when better than sunday night at their house?
Best way to stay a season is a division road game Â

For someone spouting off about Super Bowls and team history you do realize the networks only give a crap about showing good teams playing good teams in the prime time spots. With 6-10 and 7-9 records the last two years
and lots of holes and question marks in the line up, it is very surprising that the Giants are getting so many prime time games. That implies the networks/NFL expect the Giants to be better, perhaps a contender this year. Cowboy-Giants rivalry to start the year makes sense . They seem to play each other well.
Some of just think it is strange that a 6-10 team with holes is getting so many late games.

Ever just think the Giants are a good draw? John Madden once said and he's right, you can't go wrong with a NFC matchup. When the Jets had their run under Rex, the Giants were still getting more primetime games.

So what exactly is your point? We had two whole losing seasons, TWO! There's teams that haven't had a winning record in a decade and others who haven't sniffed the playoffs in 20 years. Did you ever think that the giants get all these prime time games because they're a national team, a team with a fan base from coast to coast.

Saturday night in the French Quarter will be wild.
ROADTRIP!
Is it? Schwartz might ask to take that game off?! I hope not, but I've heard that he's done that before on high holidays.

Hold on...may be an adjustment to this one.
We should buy him a jersey with that over the number '-99'.

Not to mention how close we played the boys in 2013 in both games. We are due for a win.
Which is why, if we are fairly healthy, we can beat them.
