PS I know how stupid it is to predict wins and losses on the second day of offseason workouts.
New York Giants 2015 Schedule Released - ( New Window )
Because I recent years we have sucked early and played stronger at the end of the season.
That just blows.
I'd like to go to the Tampa Bay game this year.
PS I know how stupid it is to predict wins and losses on the second day of offseason workouts.
agreed. gives Dallas an advantage. rather play someone out of our division or someone we're likely to lose to anyway.
I have been a season ticket holder for 20+ years, this is one the best slates I have seen.
Dallas, NE, Jets in a row, Philly to close the season?
Curious what you were looking for, this is great as far as I am concerned.
As STH all those flex games look like there are way more flexes than there used to be.

Maybe you don't work as both the Washington and 49ers games are at night and night games suck for those who work.

Don't mean to be rude but staying up late at home is a lot different than sitting in a stadium at 11pm or later and driving home in traffic with work the next day.
As if Giants fans are the only fans who have to deal with night games..
Great for tailgating. Don't have to start drinking at 10.
You could look at it like that. Or you can look at it that we'll be healthier early in the season.
Otherwise, it's pretty fair from a scheduling standpoint.
Easy to take a Friday off if needed, or suck it up for one day.
I love the Sunday night football tailgates, cando something else during the day and still enjoy the game later.
I was speaking from a "value" point of view, this is a pretty good slate.
Only questionable game would be the 12/20 game if they aren't doing well.
I have never gotten more texts from friends wanting to come to games as I did in the last 3 hours.
For the record, I am employed, as a high ranking exec of my company, maybe I can more easily take the day after a game off if I need to, but I don't view that as a negative.
I am keeping the first weekend of feb open...
Love this team, love the schedule.
its a division game at least so there is little to no real major prep needed
OBJ was one of the biggest stars at the end of last season. The primetime games are due to him.

The Giants need to go no worse than 4-2 in the division (I have two wins against Wash and NYG home wins against Phil and Dal.
[quote] That is a level playing field. Acclimating our new old DC to his personnel and vice versa isn't. [/quote
Except the Giants health in recent years is usually worse off..
just nonsense!!!!
I'll likely go. The Vikes will probably be out of it by then and it'll be plenty cold so I should be able to get great seat cheap.
This.
I don't care about the night games or when other teams have bye weeks. Just win 9+ games and get into the playoffs again. It's not a bad schedule at all. They can do it.
Agreed. Its a fucking disgrace.
Of course the first part of the equation has to be the Giants becoming a better team, and I can see that happening with Eli in his second year of McAdoo's offense, Cruz coming back, better play from JPP, a healthier secondary, and the new players on defense.
When first leaked, they had us AT Philly in regular season finale..I like this better
True dat..

The reason why I hate primetime games is different than it is for others. Generally speaking, we suck in them. That's my biggest qualm with having 5 in one season.
Otoh, I go into each season relishing the home game down the stretch..
Parcells did too.
Fassel kind of owned them.

how a team that finished 7-9 and 6-10 the last two years and will a play total of 10 prime time games the last two seasons

Maybe so but we did not even have OBj yet before last years schedule came out and we had 5 prime time games after 2013 7-9 season, 2 prime time games i don't have a problem with like a previous poster mention we are horrible in prime time games especially against Philly.
It can go either way, I haven't seen a relationship between what time they play and win or loss.
Guess it is unusual that they come closer together than usual but not by much.
Of course the first part of the equation has to be the Giants becoming a better team, and I can see that happening with Eli in his second year of McAdoo's offense, Cruz coming back, better play from JPP, a healthier secondary, and the new players on defense.
I like your positive attitude but I can have no expectations of improvement until we address the serious deficiencies on our o-line.
Let's hope so.
Parcells did too.
Fassel kind of owned them.
But even during the Parcells years weird shit with Philly always seemed to happen..The blocked FGA in OT returned for winning TD, Banks had Cunningham sacked yet amazingly held his balance for what proved to be winning score..Just two examples off the top of my head
If they have a losing record this year, the coaching staff will probably be gone.
The 80's and the Eli era, have reinforced the understanding that good teams, championship teams, beat who they play, when they play them.
As a result, other than that I don't love prime time games, I don't pay too much attention to the schedule anymore.
If they have a losing record this year, the coaching staff will probably be gone.
If they have a losing record this year, the coaching staff SHOULD be gone.
Means nothing.
There is no concrete proof that two weeks off really makes a difference.
You guys worry about everything. If the Giants are good, they will win. IF they suck, they will struggle. The schedule isn't the enemy. This team needs to kick fucking ass again in 2015. Fuck this schedule shit and crying about night games and bye weeks and whatever else. The Giants won ten fucking road games in a row back in 2007. They beat the best teams to win each and every super bowl. The Giants do better when the schedule is tough.
I'm done making excuses. I give them a pass for the last 2.5 years--downward trends happen --but it's time for this franchise to win again. Get it the fuck done in 2015.

We haven't sucked in prime time in quite some time.
If you haven't made peace with the fact that many of the NYG home games will be at night then you never will. You're still surprised?
We could go back to the mid 90s when nobody gave a shit about this team and they were lucky to see one MNF game a year. Would you prefer that?
Put your tix on the ticket exchange and unload the terrible burden.
The Giants need to be the tough team on everyone elses schedule. Eli to BEckham is a good start they better be able to compliment those two and win games.
The AFC East could have the 3 best defensive lines in football, so that should be a good challenge for the Giants. Hopefully the fact that most of those games are later is good; the o-line gets a chance to really work together as a unit.
Dude you're not kidding. It seems half the people I know are in a rush to go nowhere. Even the FF draft I do every year, half the guys complain that it takes too long. Where the fuck do yo have to be that can't wait another 30 min?
Everyone's in a rush to go nowhere--especially in this part of the country. Fucking relax. I get why some hate the night games simply because it's gonna be a brutal wake up the next day but still, relax.
So you've polled every other fan base? How, exactly, did you do that?
Will be there. You going bro?
I'm worried I won't even be awake the next morning to get to the game for the kickoff.
Reminds me of offensive pass interference against home colts by tim carter.
