We need Pugh to become a tough guy. If he and Richburg become the players hoped, then we are in good shape on a line if we draft Scherff, Flowers, or Collins.
Were very interesting. Berhe seems to have a little of bit "just wait and see" in his eyes, not sure if he's got the AA to do it, but he has the desire and clearly the smarts.
Pugh's was very interesting, its clear he knows he got tossed around way too much last year, glad to see he's addressing it.
The Dwayne Harris questions were so awful, we has asked THREE times..exact same question....blech
Amukamara said something VERY interesting today. I have wondered if Berhe has the range to play safety. But Amukamara said Berhe's strength is his speed. If he has range combined with his hitting, I like that.
Regarding Pugh, did you catch his comments about "becoming more violent with his hand use" and the MMA training?
about his new dog. It was really funny. At one point he talked about the dog potentially coming to meetings and being five minutes early and the dog turning off his cell phone so he didn't get in trouble with Coughlin. There was little bit about the dog watching tape on the iPad.
talk was significant - talked about the leverage and using his hips. implied that the mma guys used those tools and neutralized his size advantage (100 pounds).
Liked Berhe's comments about people screaming to see what the young guys could do, now that they will get to see that, everyone's stressed.
Q: Has the profile of offensive linemen changed at all in the last decade at all?
A: We just look for good players. Good profiles. Good players. Strong. Big, strong, fast and smart.
That's a legit question that could have be answered in multiple ways: Offensive lineman have become more athletic, the position has evolved with the emphasis on the passing game, etc. Instead we get this stupid answer.
I never realized, but 50 percent of Prince Amulamara's face is comprised of his freaking lips...damn! He should be the national advocator for Chapstick
I will support him and all the other GMs as far as how useless these pre-draft PCs are. The questions the media ask are really silly considering they might be expecting a real answer. The GMs are not going to show you their board and I don't blame them.

I'd like your quote much better if you changed the word "or" to "and" as in....

I know that's not possible but we are NOT one Oline upgrade away from a great or even good line. How many games did Schwartz last in 2014? How many will he last in 2015? Will Beatty be his inconsistent self again? Is Richburgh really our long term answer at center? Will we finally have a running game? If we can't establish the run again we won't be in the playoffs.

Pugh came off as a really good guy.
I listened to this and thought "I want to hang out with Justin Pugh."
is saying is part of the issue w/ this staff over the years. He made some plays, did well filling in 4th qtr. when stevie brown got benched. And what happens? The following day at practice the God Awful quintin demps plays over him w/no explanation, stinks up the field and never gets benched. While nat sits and fewell big times him by not even acknowledging it.
Pugh: We need to be more physical and violent.
I did like Jennings' confidence too.

He also mentioned not always being on the same page with Brown/Rolle, that was odd. If Berhe has the speed, great, I'm all for it.

That's a question for Tom...Talk to Tom
