In my 30 plus years living in New York City I don't ever remember this many windy days like we have had since the middle of March it seems like it is windy every single day rain or shine, I have relatives in Chicago and they have told me the wind their has not been bad I guess New York is now the Windy City smh awful weather the last 6 months in this state.
This past winter was the most persistent, brutal winter I've ever endured in my 30 years of life. If next winter is more of the same I may seriously consider re-locating. I can't deal with that shit again.

Also, Chicago being called the Windy City has nothing to do with the wind.
That's a pain in the ass - rising water levels are finally going to give me a waterfront home, and it's going to be too damn cold to enjoy it.
And Windy has stormy eyes

Same here. My daughter has a weak immune system, and this past winter punished her (and stressed out her working mom and dad). On top of that, the cold and snow make me miserable. I never thought I would consider moving out of the region, but if this is the new normal in the northeast, I may not have much choice, when mental and physical health are at stake.
They were WAY worse, with heavy snow as a given and temps that regularly went well below zero. There were, typically, at least two moderate snowstorms every October, and the snow continued into April. We're spoiled by a three-decade lessening of Winter weather.
I read here that you moved to Denver. I guess that was a joke.
somebody we is living where it is 80 degrees is going to tell people to stop complaining about cold weather when we are over a month into spring smfh
