Tonight we can punch our ticket to the Conference Semi-Finals in a cool 5 games if we're able to take care of business. I think we've seen about the best we're going to get from the Pens in this series. Between injuries and lack of depth, they're just not very good. Crosby is still good enough to do the damage on his own as he did in Game 2 but fuck that shit.
Major opportunity to get out of a first round in less than 7 games here, which is something we've not done since Renney was behind the bench and we disposed of LOLDevils in 5 back in 2008.

Yeah you can, you can score more goals off a crappy, banged up defense. MAF has played well, but many of our shots have not been top quality, a lot of his saves have been on positioning. That is not something that should be lost in this.

The Rangers have skated circles around the Penguins. If not for MAF, this game would be over already. One fluke garbage goal doesn't mean that the game's at risk. The Pens have managed to outskate the Rangers for a grand total of 100 seconds.

The dumbest thing I ever read is saying that we haven't scored because of MAF. When you shoot the puck into the mans chest, it is easy to save. Is he playing well? Yes. Should we be shooting higher quality shots? I think so. I don't think our finishing has been great all series. The other night we couldn't hit the net if we tried and tonight it seems like we are just shooting it into the center of his chest and not getting good wood on the puck.
If you don't recognize that MAF has had to make at least a half dozen excellent saves, IDK what to say.
