Tonight we can punch our ticket to the Conference Semi-Finals in a cool 5 games if we're able to take care of business. I think we've seen about the best we're going to get from the Pens in this series. Between injuries and lack of depth, they're just not very good. Crosby is still good enough to do the damage on his own as he did in Game 2 but fuck that shit.
Major opportunity to get out of a first round in less than 7 games here, which is something we've not done since Renney was behind the bench and we disposed of LOLDevils in 5 back in 2008.
Klein is 50/50 to go tonight per AV. Sounds like it's basically Klein's call at this point.
No bullshit. Start fast, score first and have them with one foot on the golf courses nice and early.

Ugh. And to think we could've signed him and he would've been cheaper than Tanner Glass. That's why I was saying all offseason we should sign Winnik.

Was Winnik NOT on the ice for any of the goals we scored in this series?

Anak, Winnik was awful. That's what arc is saying. He was a -6 in the series and we only scored 8 even strength goals. That's pretty hard to do. So yeah, good signing suggestion?

I know, I was being sarcastic. I was echoing what we were saying in the offseason. I was one of them. I did want Winnik over Glass.
djm, i seem to remember him having at least 3/4 BAD give aways because of panicked passing in EACH if the last two.
I want him to do well, but he looks overwhelmed to me. He looked much better earlier in the series. But i am literally nervous whenever he is on the ice
He makes some of the best crisp, on the tape passes I have seen from a Ranger Dman in quite a while.
Him, Hayes, Kreider, Hags, Zucc, Fast, Brassard, Stepan, some of our guys in juniors and the mimors, and our deep defensive corps really set us up for long term competitiveness.
I'm just a little disappointed there hasnt been more overtime in that one.
Hoping for a few OT on Monday too.
