deGrom didn't have it and the Mets are going to lose , turn the page and tomorrow's a new day
They could still come back in this game. I don't know if they will but they have put up some big innings so far this season. I wouldn't give up on the game entirely just yet.
RE: Who said it was 424? An announcer or poster from other thread?

Gonna be tough to come back against Pineda. Looks like he has the goods tonight. Pick it up tomorrow. Depressing outing from DeGrom tonight. Its funny...its not even losing to the Yankees that bothers me so much...its having to deal with the ignorant yank fans that make it unbearable. Oh well, on to tomorrow.
so let me get this straight...the ball went 110 feet farther than the wall? Did anyone on earth see it that way?
The measurement is based on where the ball would hit the ground if there were no stands. If you hit a ball that would travel 600 feet under normal conditions, the outfield fence is 300, and I build another enormous wall behind the fence that the ball bounces off, it's still more informative to describe the bomb you hit as a 600 foot HR, not a 300 foot HR. The place where Tex's HR physically landed in the stands is probably only about 380 feet away from home plate, but it was obviously still pretty high up and would presumably travel another 40 or 50 feet before hitting the ground if the grandstand didn't exist.
FWIW I have MLB At Bat, which has the second HR at 425. It would be out anywhere. His first HR went 372, and given how close it was to the foul line it would probably also be out in any park. The only real cheapie was Ellsbury's.
does anyone else think that this Zebra fool yankee fan is
furiously going back and forth between met and yankee threads so he can report back everything we say? I havent checked but im willing to bet that's true. Sad.
I've tried staying quiet, because I love that the Mets are good again, finally. It's good for baseball and it's good for NY. But holy fuck are you guys whiny cunts. You can bet on it every year. You pussies ridicule Yankee fans over and over again, but yet, read this thread. It's another example of your cuntness. Seth, Phi, Headhunter. The same fucking culprits. Just shit the fuck up already and enjoy the games. Christ man.
They should have scored a couple right there. It would have changed the complexion of the game with plenty of baseball left to be played. OH well the top of the order leading off the next inning.

Get the fuck off this thread, dude. Posts like yours are why we have separate threads. But no, you can't fucking help yourself.

Lol, so glad you stopped by the Mets thread and not even one post on your own Yankee thread. Multiple yankee fans purposely come onto the met thread to be dicks and you wonder why we bitch about Yankee fans. Same ones all the time. Theres really no reason to be here so I dont know what your problem is.
deGrom just took a little to long to settle down and get into a groove
Good job kirk!
I wonder if not having TDA behind the plate has had any affect on him?

You know that both teams hit in the same stadium right? Stop bitching.

Not every team stacks their roster full of lefties just to play in your stadium dickhead. So, get fucked.
i could give a fuck. There were two fly ball outs and a line drive double that all ended up being homers. Its just lame as shit.

Who do you think? Obviously it was one of the math genius yankee fans.
