NFT: Must see things in Dallas in June?

bc0312 : 4/25/2015 5:35 pm
I have a trip in June to Texas and will be spending 3 days, 2 nights in San Antonio and then taking the 4 hour drive up to Dallas. Are there any must see/do/eat places in between San Antonio and Dallas? I will then have 1 day and 2 nights in Dallas. What are the musts there? I already plan on visiting Dealey Plaza and possibly going on a tour of AT& T stadium.

I'll be staying just north of the city and will have a car so I can travel some.

Biga on the Banks. Excellent restaurant. I had a nice meal in Dallas too - let me try and find the name of the restaurant.

If you are an old man like me or you have read about the assaination of President Kennedy go to the Texas Book Depository. You can look out the window from which the president was assasinated and see the grassy knoll and other sites you have read about.

in downtown Fort Worth if you are there on a Friday or Saturday night. It's an Improv comedy club and is excellent. Always gets good reviews.

Is a great place. Dallas has a cool zoo too. I also highly recommend touring the stadium if you can. It's a neat place. I've been to Dallas several times. It's a very clean city. The people are incredibly friendly. I travel about 25% for my job and it's one of my favorite cities.

San Antonio is a very fun town. Have a good time.

you'll be passing through the best BBQ region of the country.

Look for Franklin's (Austin)
Salt Lice (Round Rock/Austin)
Black's (Lockhart)
and many others.
