I thought last night was great... I really like the way things are shaping up, EXCEPT for the drawn out yawnfest that is Brienne yapping to Pod.
I may have my timelines messed up, but doesn't Tyrion Meet the Griffs (Old and Young) prior to getting taken by Jorah?? If so, then I guess Young Griff wasn't a Targarian after all! I never really liked that plotline in the book anyway, but I was hoping to learn how to play some Crivass from watching the show.
Its strongly hinted that Aegon is a "false dragon", most likely either a Blackfyre or someone who looks the part that was programmed by people with vested interest in what's going on in Westeros. It really seems his only purpose is to fulfill some of the House of the Undying prophecy and cause trouble again in the kingdom, one of which isn't relevant in the TV show and the other can be accomplished by other means (see above).
So I think some form of Pink Letter is coming in the show version.

Like I said.. I am happy about this. I was bored to tears with that whole storyline.
I can't see them having Tyrion go out like that, but it strikes me that something has to happen with Greyscale in the larger series for it to make it to the show (and go beyond establishing Stannis has a scarred daughter and a messed up wife).
And I agree - the Aegon story reads and comes off as a late addition that should have been left on the editor's floor. Some ideas are fleshed out, but its way too much to introduce in the 5th book.

Regarding Greyscale, maybe Jorah instead of Griff.
What I think will happen in season 6 is they will fast forward Sansa. They're using this season to skip most of her beginning Winds of Winter chapters and instead placed her into this story. But wherever she winds up by the end of book 6 will be where she is next season. That's to me anyway, what it appears they're doing.
No matter what happens with Wildlings, Crows, Stannis, Jon, White Walkers, Others, etc., it won't end well for the Boltons.
