Exactly. All those who were saying the Giants could get DJ Humpries, Cameron Erving, or Laken Thompson in round 2. Jake Fisher, TJ Clemmings, and AJ Cann were the other names. Let's see if any of those three are still available when the Giants are on the clock again.
I'll be getting antsy for the Giants to trade up a few spots and grab him, if it's not too costly. He'd be great value there and fills a major need.
I wouldn't trade up for him, but he'd have to be on the short list of players to take if he somehow got to #40. Some teams apparently ranked Randall ahead of him.
the Colts have plenty of playmakers on offense. I generally prefer teams to take BPA, but there are other considerations. Luck is the type of quarterback that can be productive with anyone at wide receiever-- just protect him. Or, build up a defense. An additional wide receiver is less valuable.
said the Giants had a high grade on Goldman, and that some people he knew were using the word "elite" to describe him. Of course, he could easily be taken before pick #40, but one of him, Collins, Davis, OO, or Preston Smith should be available.
Collins slips to #40, and the Giants take him, then I would consider Tyeler Davison, DT from Fresno State in the 4th round. Not much of a pass rusher, but very stout at the POA. Only 6'2", but 34" arms, and 31 reps.
Quote:
Brown, Odi, Kendricks, Collins, Gregory, Goldman, Smith, Rowe and Darby.
Don't forget Carl Davis.

just sayin
Only 2 I'd trade up for would be Malcom Brown and Odi.
Give me a break. Unbelievable.
