1. DL- Again a number of guys here who may drop with pass rush upside. Preston Smith (my favorite at 40), Odi (up there too but medical scares me), Jordan Phillips, Eddie Goldman, Carl Davis, Arik Armstead (not likely to drop this far)
2. Safety- There may be a few that carry a top 40 grade who are great ahtletes with decent production and very high upside but carry a little projection as CB/S combo types: Qunetin Rollins (7 ints his first year as a starter and seems to be a super versatile athlete), Byron Jones, PJ Williams/Marcus Peters (if still there), Demarious Randall
3. WR- (if not adressed in round 1) there are some intersting names that could be in play here: Agholor (too much round 1 buzz doubt he drops now), Brashad Perriman (also not likely to drop), Jalen Strong, Devin Smith
5. TE- Only two worthy of consideration at 40 possibly Maxx Williams. Not the stud size/speed freak that the Giants usually would prefer at TE if they pick one top 50.
*My Pick: Owamagbe Odighizuwa: His hip issues and lack of eye-popping production causes him to fall, but there is no questioning his 'freakish' strength and talent. He is the type of long armed, top measurable type DE the Giants covet. Also if the hip checks out , Reese has shown a willingness to gamble with players with medical histories starting in late round 1 on (Kiwi,Webster, Terrel Thomas,Tuck). Odi may be well worth the gamble.
*Alternate Pick(s): Devin Smith one of best deep catchers in draft and system did not fully showcase his potential talent. Can run more of route tree than it looks and has the wiggle to get open vs. NFL CBs. Jake Fischer/Cam Erving/Laken Tomlinson if no OL round 1 or DE Odi/Preston Smith. Jake and Cam Check off all many boxes from a measurable standpoint for a tackle with LT upside. Preston Smith is very close to what Giants look for size and speed wise in a DE and he had an excellent senior campaign. Darkhorse could be Marpet. May be a bit high @40 but Giants love this kids athletics and tested off the charts at the combine.
**Previous pick: Nelson Agholor WR. This is a bigger/faster Steve Smith (NYG version) in my opinion. Great route runner and competitor. Not necessarliy a burner but does everything else and is an NFL ready receiver day 1. Based on Reese's draft history the recurring theme in his high WR picks is route-running. This guy would be a great fit in our precision WCO offense.
RE: RE: Not that it means much, but after 15 selections the NFL
Browns have made two good pick. Who would have thought that would happen? No crazy shit. And for all the predicted trades, I think only one has happened.
go Landon Collins here. He'd be a good fit with them. He was a guy people were initially talking about in the top 10 range so he's falling quite a bit compared to early mocks.
Shelton or Waynes would have been my pick.
That was awesome.

possibly getting Malcom Brown
Why? malcolm gordon would be worse.
Brown is a stud
For the Giants pathetic OL, it's a blessing.
Been posting The 2nd Round pick will make or break this draft.
Last year it was pretty much the same with ODELL.

Well, then it REALLY doesn't mean much!
seriously by .1 point ???
come on...
Jones is a FS in the NFL. When I mocked him I had him moving to FS and that was before FA and the Giants non moves at safety.
Yeah, a nice replacement for Maclin.
Hey, it's a draft. Other teams are gonna get good players too. We've just gotta keep making good picks.

2nd best route runner in draft under Cooper. Kelly knows offense.

Pretty much my favorite round 2 target if he dropped. But you're right still a ton of red chippers left.
Great pick by Pitt
Seems appropriate, if so..............
