I don't know a lot about college football so I can't comment on Flowers. But I know I did want to go OL, I just wished we could've moved down a few spots and picked up a 2nd rounder in the process.

Nastiest lineman in the draft. His footwork needs work but he didn't allow a sack all season because of his immense strength. Very coachable and will get better. Only 20 years old and the arrow is pointing up. He could be the best tackle in this draft in a few years but in the meantime, put him at left guard and watch him destroy lineman. Very happy with this pick and glad Scherff was already off the board.

"Ughh could have picked up a 3rd and still gotten him at 14...". People suck.

Maybe other years there is a refusal, but no one is trading up/down this year to any significant degree. The talent/value isn't there (even with a guy like Williams, who people think fell, but, in reality, already has had labrum tears on both shoulders) to merit it.

well i'm sure we'll never find out. My point is unless they feel Flowers is the BPA they have to cultivate options to trade down. That they had their pick in right away might inform us regarding how they feel about him.

draft. If he can't play LT at some point it will be a bad pick. Watched a lot of UM here in FL and he was never a huge standout player and played on mediocre teams. 9th pick should not be a project.
