NFT: Say a few prayers for the Marty in Albany family

Marty hasn't come on here to talk about this, so I won't get into specifics, but I am letting you all know that he is dealing with some tough stuff right now. He is a big part of the BBI family and I'm sure that a few well wishes from you all would help him during this difficult time.

Many of our long time members remember Marty for his Albany camp reports that we used to eagerly look forward to each summer as harbingers of the beginning of the season. Marty became my game partner for a few years and we became close friends during that time.

I am utterly heart broken for him right now - Marty my friend -- I love you and wish there was something I could do to help. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

I'm sure you don't remember me Marty, but we met several years ago at training camp in Albany. I was taking notes to write a report for BBI and you thought that I was a reporter. I don't often write but do read BBI every day, and have thoroughly enjoyed your humor and insights. May God bless you and your family. Trust Him...He does have a plan for you!

I'm not a big poster, but I have always love reading the observations of BBI'ers. You are at the top of my list, I admired your dedication to the camp reports which were great.

I probably have some sense of how you may be feeling. My wife very recently had lung cancer.
