Tomlinson was taken in the first round. That's why I thought you were just saying something to get attention. You seem to follow the draft pretty closely so I thought you were aware of that fact. I meant no offense.
I really hope not. Can we please not draft guys with major injuries who have no chance of playing this year? Does he even want to be drafted? ESPN just said he'll be paid $3M from an insurance policy if he isn't.
Dude looks like Kenny Phillips. What am I missing here?
I don't know anything about him but I hit up google and and saw they have his game against Boston College. Two minutes in and he gets beat deep for what should have been a touchdown. Next play he looks tentative stepping up supporting the run and ends up getting swallowed up by a blocker, giving up a long touchdown.
Giants have lead the league in injuries the last two years. So now we're going to draft a CB who tore his ACL less than six months ago? Great. I also read a story which said the damage was much more than a torn ACL.
I agree with someone above (sorry I'm too lazy to look up who)
I would grab La'el Collins. If we could convince him to still play that gives is another 1st rd graded guy (certainly no worse that 2nd round). He could step right in at guard for us.
I know Holliman can't tackle, but you can teach tackling.
If you can teach tackling, why hasn't he learned it after spending four years in a Division 1 football program? Tackling is about form and technique, but it's also about attitude and the will to do it. I'm not saying I wouldn't draft the guy, but I wouldn't draft him based on the assumption that I'm gonna turn him into a good tackler.
He's still out there now and if he's there when we pick in the 5th I'd take him. I think he's much better than a 5th round pick and would be an excellent red zone target. Michigan State always produces good receivers too (with the exception of Charles Rogers)
Obviously his willingness to tackle is something the Giants would learn in interviews. We really don't know if he has the willingness or not. Maybe will never be a great tackler, but even if you can get him to become a solid tackler the ball skills are insane. It's the 5th round. Every single player has flaws.
Jay Ayaji
Cameron Artis Payne
David Cobb
Karlos Williams
Would not mind RB depth in Rd 5!
Ayaji knee is bone on bone. Talent wise he's there in the top 5 in this year's class but read earlier he might go undrafted.
I think he's absolutely worth "a one contract only" pick he can be a real weapon in this league

Douglas was a guy I think the Giants visited.
sure they are making a ton of money though at each venue with these venue parties and certainly are with the esplanade format in Chicago.
Are you taunting us?
Also wouldn't mind Ifo Oregon CB, Grady Jarrett or Michael Bennett in the 5th. Ifo was a 1st team all American that is falling because of injuries.

Don't want Holliman or Ifo for the reasons you cite. Would be fine with either of the other two.
It's not that, it's that the guy you've been touting was taken on Thursday night.
He went in the 1st round...

Trade a 3rd in a better draft year for a 4th? To Philly?
Detroit doing what they can to NOT win a SB.
Shaw Bell Glowinski off the board this round
I think I would
