(1) Some players everyone thought would be drafted, won't be drafted at all. In the last few years that included Kevin Reddick and Alvin Bailey.
(2) A lot of players will be drafted that even the knowledgeable fans on BBI will never have even heard of before.
(3) Players with injury and character concerns will start to come off the board. Think Collins goes now in the fourth.
Would like to see a trade down to get extra picks to compete with the back part of this roster, which is so lacking at so many positions. Curious to see if the Giants, who are now the team of "team captains," will take a chance on a player like Josh Shaw, who they did meet, or David Irving, whose workout they attended. Would like a DT, Davison or Walton, and a WR, maybe the Coxson from Stony Brook, who the Giants liked. They also apparently liked Glowinski, who would be a great pickup, but he'll probably be gone by the fifth.
This is an important day. Let's get some players Jerry.
But I am really starting to get sick of the NFL and NFLN for patting themselves on the back for holding the draft in Chicago as if the same thing could never be done in NY.
Bio: Four-year starter and team captain who caught 37 passes for 304 yards (8.2 average) and four touchdowns in 12 games in 2014. Turned 22 this year. 33 3/8-inch arms. 10 3/8-inch hands. 5.04 40-yard dash. 20 bench reps. 30.5-inch vertical. 112-inch broad jump. 4.23 20-yard shuttle.
Evaluation: Not much tape available of him online but during the Senior Bowl, he stood out as a big, strong kid who likes contact, as he finished his runs that week with gusto. Experienced, productive player who is not quick out of his breaks or twitchy; might need to be schemed open in the passing game but is a try-hard guy with solid hands. Level of competition is a concern but has the look of an inline tight end in the NFL; has enough bulk to do it.

LSU's La'el Collins, back in Baton Rouge to meet with police and undergo a paternity test Monday, is likely to be picked today, per sources.
A paternity test? Interesting use of words. This tells me they are interested in determining the parentage but are not seeking a forensic link to a crime scene. A small distinction, but if I were a cop, I would not use the term paternity test unless my only interest in Collins' DNA was with respect to the child.
A horrible tragedy and you can only hope it sorts out in a way that sounds like justice for the family.

Not saying they should, but there is a lot of great value left, and do they need to come out of this draft with 6 rookies or 5 that can contribute.
I also think there are going to be quite a few UDRFAs that have a shot at making teams.

I would take him or TJ clemmings in a hearbeart. To get a first round grade on a guy now is insane and worth the risks both bring
you have to KNOW Jerrah wants this draft to be held in Jerry world
that will make me vomit, buts its going to happen

Douglas was a guy I think the Giants visited.
sure they are making a ton of money though at each venue with these venue parties and certainly are with the esplanade format in Chicago.
Are you taunting us?
Also wouldn't mind Ifo Oregon CB, Grady Jarrett or Michael Bennett in the 5th. Ifo was a 1st team all American that is falling because of injuries.
