Average straightline speed, but excellent quickness and tough. Has experience playing outside and the slot which he moved to this year at the coaches request to benefit the team. Tough as well and good size. Very good tackler, keeps his head on a swivel and plays with anticipation. We don't have depth at the corner position, again. We need a player like this.
understanding this pick that there must be something exceptional about Thompson or their plans for him. They know much better than I so I won't complain. Besides, with our first three picks I'm good to go.
But, even the ignorant can get s feel from mock drafts and draft guides, so I wouldn't disparage people too quickly. I'm sure they have valuation on him, but isn't part of the draft at different rounds getting someone you won't be able to get later on? Is there evidence of this? Also, if you look back at these type of picks where they take someone not in the guides, what is their track record for success?
Why? Reese is happy with Robinson, the "James Brewer of TEs," creaky veteran Fells, and UDFA former Grambling State QB Donnell. We've got everybody we need.
RE: I think TE might be a good place to go with the next pick.

Definite Head Scratch-er
No. He went in early Round 4
Justin Hardy was already selected
High upside. Only reason he's still here is because of the injury. Very typical Reese pick this late.
It's a 7th.
Take BPA here then go Tight end in round 6.

It is a typical Reese "upside' pick. But we have lead the league in injuries the last two years. No.
already picked
He'd be a good choice.
Another safety
Can someone explain to me this one?
Great point.
2014: 13 GP 70 Tkl 2 TFL 2 PBU 1 FF 1 INT
A little video - ( New Window )
On ODI, had only six sacks but add to that 30 pressures and sounds a lot better.
Me too :-(
Starting to feel the sting of being short 2 picks. Would have been nice to get one back.
Is it still 53? You get my point.
Zach Vigil from Utah State would be a great choice a LB with the 6th pick

Trust the scouts I guess.
