Why is Michael Bennett
dropping?
We're

La'el Collins
allstarjim : 1:45 pm : link
Stated he would not sign with any team after the 3rd round and will instead re-enter the 2016 Draft. I would take him at his word. Not only is there risk until he is truly cleared from the murder investigation, but there is also tremendous risk that he will refuse to sign.

I'm watching for Rashad Greene from FSU.
Mike Bennett, Jay Ajayi, Cody Prewitt, Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, Amos, Derron

..
It's Great To See La'el Collins Fill The Giant Void...

Ifo is a guy talked about as a first rounder
Lionhart28 : 1:45 pm : link
a year ago. If they think he can fully recover, I love the pick. Plus, the Eagles probably want him. Hardison and Jarrett going right before our pick...
allstarjim
Eric from BBI : Admin : 1:45 pm : link
You can him and his agent right now and confirm they truly want to sit out a year.
Can't believe Adrian Amos
Coach Mason : 1:45 pm : link
is still there...he should be the pick..CB/S....centerfield ability at Safety which is our biggest weakness right now

I would love it, but that paternity test is worrisome if it is being done to establish a motive. They may be doing it to all the boyfriends involved, but this has really been a weird way to conduct the investigation with him. They went out of their way to pressure him into coming back down there prior to the draft
I'm shocked that
cnewk : 1:46 pm : link
Ajayi and Bennett are still available. Is there something that all the teams know that the rest of us don't?
I like Ben Heeney, Chris Hackett, Kevin White on defense....
Milton : 1:46 pm : link
Darren Waller, JJ Worten, Rashad Greene, Nick O'Leary, Reese Dismukes, Sean Hickey on offense.

Somebody posted earlier that he can't enter the 2016 draft.
Why would he agree to be sick with a low round
$ that is mandated ?
Jay Ajayi has a knee condition apparently
Stupendamatic : 1:46 pm : link
Quote:
“One team will say, ‘He’s off the board because he’s bone on bone,’ ” Mayock said. “Other teams say, ‘That’s fine. We’ll get one contract out of him.’ ”

Ajayi, who was the nation’s busiest tailback in 2014 and the second-most productive, told the media Tuesday that his knee was fine.

Stuck
Maybe also sick
He
Eric from BBI : Admin : 1:48 pm : link
can re-enter the draft if he is draft; not if he goes undrafted.

La'el Collins
YANKEE28 : 1:48 pm : link
without question.

He cannot enter the 2016 draft.

Its a 5th round pick in a weak draft.

Take a chance Giants.

If the goal (as Reese said) is to fix the O Line, here is your chance to get would could be a HUGE value this late.

Ok, that makes sense. Bennett is healthy though right? I would love him to fall to the Giants.

Ajayi has a knee problem that may be degenerative.
bone-on-bone?
SHO'NUFF : 1:49 pm : link
no thanks, went through that already with Kenny Phillips. There is no way Giants will draft Collins, even for free.
If Collins goes undrafted and sits out a year
cnewk : 1:50 pm : link
or play in Canada, is he then able to sign a contract without any constraints like the rookie cap?
I'd
Jon in NYC : 1:51 pm : link
be stunned if the Giants take a flier on Collins right now with so many holes and so much other talent on the board.
there is actually only ONE scenerio
Giantsfan79 : 1:52 pm : link
in which Collins can re-enter the draft and that's if he is drafted this year but doesn't sign. Otherwise he becomes a free agent
if

I highly doubt he sits out. Giving up money this season for a chance he gets drafted next season is not that smart. He most likely would not be a 1st rounder anyway. I think if a team does take him he will sign.

They are trying to scare teams off so he goes undrafted and can get any contract he wants.

I'd like a WR or CB at this point
SHO'NUFF : 1:58 pm : link
McBride, White or Ifo.
I want
Jon in NYC : 1:59 pm : link
Ekpre Olomu.

High upside. Only reason he's still here is because of the injury. Very typical Reese pick this late.
Just missed Cobb
njm : 1:59 pm : link
How about Mike Hull, LB Penn State?
Take
Mr. Nickels : 1:59 pm : link
La'el Collins with our 7th and he can take it or leave it.

It's a 7th.

Take BPA here then go Tight end in round 6.
I want CB Justin Coleman out of Tennessee
sjnyfan : 1:59 pm : link
Average straightline speed, but excellent quickness and tough. Has experience playing outside and the slot which he moved to this year at the coaches request to benefit the team. Tough as well and good size. Very good tackler, keeps his head on a swivel and plays with anticipation. We don't have depth at the corner position, again. We need a player like this.
Amos is gone

It is a typical Reese "upside' pick. But we have lead the league in injuries the last two years. No.

Thomson pretty well off everyone's radar.
Only two interceptions, but great special teams.

On ODI, had only six sacks but add to that 30 pressures and sounds a lot better.

But, even the ignorant can get s feel from mock drafts and draft guides, so I wouldn't disparage people too quickly. I'm sure they have valuation on him, but isn't part of the draft at different rounds getting someone you won't be able to get later on? Is there evidence of this? Also, if you look back at these type of picks where they take someone not in the guides, what is their track record for success?
and suddenly we
Dankbeerman : 2:33 pm : link
Are down to 2 picks. Got to think we need another body on both lines.

Starting to feel the sting of being short 2 picks. Would have been nice to get one back.
Davison

Think big picture
Who makes the 53?

Is it still 53? You get my point.

James now gone. He would have been a good pick as well.
I would
YANKEE28 : 3:02 pm : link
like to see a blocking TE and a LB with speed with the next 2 picks.

Zach Vigil from Utah State would be a great choice a LB with the 6th pick
