I am liking the looks of Offense vs Defense competition

To be great you have to play against great competition. If our drafted players are as "nasty" on the field as they were in college, competition could make this team great.

Flowers makes our Oline and Dline better just by addition. Our oline was soft last year and it showed up on both sides of the ball.

I could go down the line. great WR + great DB = great competition. Better running game = better tackling D.

Obviously it doesn't always work out, but To me our team got way better just by adding some quality players. That in turn "should" make others better.

the NFL allowed real training camps with 2 a days and hitting, practicing in pads. Yes, competition is always good, but the new CBA mandated training camps take some of that edge away.

Training camp practices more closely resemble Friday walk throughs than live action. There is very little meaningful contact.
