Just a hypothetical because I'm bored. Let's assume OBJ keeps this up over the next 3-4 years continuing to be an elite wr and a generational talent. How much will he cost down the road when its time to pay him 3-4 years from now? With the cap continuing to go up the next few years could we be looking at a 20-22 million a year contract for a WR?

And having a franchise QB
Something we can leverage......
.or sign one of the 10 WRs who made an impression last year in their rookie season.
Supply and Demand drives salaries.
And one thing colleges are producing are WRs!
He'd probably be in Tennessee anyway (with a lot more money), but the Giants' trophy case would be really crowded. Bottom line: when your stars play well, it's a good thing. Let Kevin Abrams worry about the cap. As others have said, Beckham's rookie contract probably coincides with the latter years of Eli Manning's peak. They should be good ones.
Gun to my head - snap answer would be close to $20M per. I'd think it would be about $5M less than what is considered a franchise QB at that time.

If being in NYC was something we can leverage, we'd routinely see high profile players sign with us at discounts because of it. We don't. And we won't with OBJ. If continues at this pace, we'll pay him accordingly, or lose him.
It will be massive.

ODB is the most popular player in football right now period. He wouldnt be on the titans.
One lucky catch vs. Dallas and whole lot of fan-fare...
