Brandon Nimmo has been diagnosed with a sprained ACL in his left knee. Can resume baseball activity when pain free. #mets

NEW YORK -- The New York Mets have signed Cuban catcher Lednier Ricardo, who was an international free agent.

Ricardo, 27, participated on the Cuban national team in 2012 and '13. He had been holding showcases for teams since last summer.

He played in the Cuban National Series with Camaguey and Cienfuegos from 2007 through '12. In 1,190 at-bats, he batted .256 with with 26 homers and 136 RBIs.

Reynolds 0-4, 2 k's (struggling pretty bad right now)
Muno 0-2, BB
Gorski 5 innings 5 hits 5 runs 2 walks 4 k's
Thornton 1 perfect 1 k

A+
Stuart 0-4 1 BB, 2 k's (he's been truly horrendous)
Conforto 1-3, K
Smith 2-4, 2b
Rosario 0-4, K
Urena 2-4
Gsellman 7 innings 6 hits 1 run 2 walks 5 k's (likely headed to AA soon, maybe a swap with struggling Gant?)
Morris 1 innings 0 hits 0 runs 2 walks 2 k's

A
Becerra 1-4, K
Garcia 1-2, 2 bb
Roseboom 1 inning 0 hits 0 runs 1 walk 2 k's

TDA needs two weeks to get his stamina up?

He had a broken pinky, why couldn't he run on a treadmill for the past 3 weeks to maintain his conditioning. SMH

Has Leathersitch been better against LHB recently or does he still have reverse splits? His numbers look great overall so I guess he must be pitching pretty well to both, but..

He's only faced 15 lefties at AAA so far this year. They are 3/15 with 7 k's

On the season AAA/MLB

18 ab's vs. lefties they are hitting .300 1 walk 7 k's.

Sample size is FAR too small to judge either way though.

His issue with me has always been his control. He's seems to have gotten a hold of that which will be a quantum leap forward if true.
it seems that

Gorski has reached his peak! He does well, high K ratio up to DBL A then gets smacked around in Vegas. He tends to give up the long ball in triple A. He "may" one day get a call up as a reliever, but I don't think anytime soon. JMHO!
