It seems a little odd for them to schedule that time with no break to eat, but whatever, who knows what they might do. But it's certainly reasonable for you to check so you can eat beforehand as necessary.

That's the truth. I know I've been hurt before by going to dinner (and usually its someone not very senior, younger , and seemingly cooler) where I thought the day was done and let me hair down more than I should have done. Said things that should have stayed hidden. Why can't you eat a salad for a whole meal? it's not like you're last meal here or a pre marathon carb up, it's a 4 hour interview that happens to include the time you normally feed yourself.

I'd expect a grown man to be able to make it 4 hours without a snack. certainly without having to have a meal. and worst case I think a salad should be able to hold you over as a whole meal. Who are you Kenny Banya? Would soup qualify as a meal?

I wouldn't hire you based on this thread.

it would be a strange question to hear. Perhaps not an ideal time of day, but I'd expect a man to be ok for four hours without food, especially in context of trying to impress and earn a job.
