But is this really surprising? He is spending the rest of his life in jail. He has to live by different rules. It is all about survival. He is going to do what will benefit his stay there.

That was my first thought. AH is going to be in the joint for life, he's probably doing what he needs to for protection.
Maybe he can do one of his fancy touchdown dances afterwards
In your opinion placing a bomb behind a children and other innocent bystanders is an unconscious act? Niether has merit, but justifying muslim atrocities sounds even more unconsciounable.
Pause for a moment and think, how can a religion that came into existence over 600 years after the cruxifiction of Jesus Christ claim authenticity? If Islam had merit and justification, why does it need the treat of death to gain converts?
Religion is a creation of man to control the masses. The personal relationship with God is a spiritual communion that manifest by the relationship to other spiritual beings, which every human is.
By their behavior Muslims are misguided and led by fanatics in search of power. Even those who do not commit atrocities are guilty by association, as inaction depicts compliance.
think more death/violence is the answer when we already have the perp locked up. There's no evidence that the death penalty deters anyone from committing crime and hasn't been proven to save the taxpayers any money. When it comes to the death penalty, I'd rather strive to be more like Scandanvia and Western Europe than China, North Korea and Iran.

Exactly. I like that MSNBC show Locked up. Interesting look at how everything inside a jail works. Once you're in you have to adjust to the new rules. Even if that means, picking a gang to run with. The danger of staying unaligned is too much. Of course these are the bigger prisons from what the show said. Judge him on what he did in society, but once in jail, I don't judge him. You do what you need to do to survive. If being a look out spares him getting jumped by a group of people, then so be it.

You are correct and it is a shame that you are. There needs to be some major changes to the correctional facilities in this country. As it stands right now we aren't much better off than when dumping criminals on a island and leaving them to fend for themselves was an option.

In front of making millions of dollars playing football. The guy obviously is a complete fucking idiot, and we will most likely be reading about his death in prison within the next 3 years
Yes, we should do it exactly like North Korea. Death by mortar shell. Also, put it on TV so all the animals can see it. Then the senseless murders might begin to slow down.

Dood you are bleeding ignorance here. All muslims are not terrorists... sheesh.

MSNBC actually has some good shows on it. They had a special on correctional fcilities in Europe and how they differ from ours. They had more of a reform aspect, and ways to educate and better the convicts so that once they got back to society they had skills to integrate themselves.
The jail had a nursery section for women so that they could be with their babies so that the child didn't miss out bonding with their mothers.
Overall, it was a very interesting show. However, I think our vast diversity, in terms of different races and cultures makes it harder for us to focus on reform.

Dood you are bleeding ignorance here. All muslims are not terrorists... sheesh.
You're 1000% right but here's the problem/issue.
An Islamic terrorist kills a bunch of people. Who comes not just to his defense but applauds his actions? Muslim emams and ayatollahs. The leaders of the Islamic faith support Islamic terrorists over and over and over, almost without exception. So what are we suppose to believe about Islam?
What Muslims criticize Islamic terrorists? Almost none.
So, all muslims are not terrorists... Right, but...

I don't think it's a diversity issue as much as it's a political one. Any kind of serious reform of the penal system will take a few decades to take hold and yield positive, measurable results. No politician is going to commit to an unpopular idea like that when they'll need to run for re-election in the near future.
As for Hernandez, I agree with those saying it's difficult if not actually unfair to judge him by societies norms now. Prison is a completely different animal. You gotta find a way to protect yourself and if he's in for life, what does he have to lose? It's an ugly situation and you do what you gotta do. He's there for the rest of his natural life, to think he can get by living quietly, minding his own business, and keeping his head down is at best wishful thinking and at worst moralizing on a situation while being completely uninformed about said situation.
And IMO there are few bigger ignorances than having a strong opinion about so,etching you know nothing about.
Tsarnaev is an unconscious and viscious fuck who thinks killing people for a cause is righteous and justified.
Hernandez is an entitled psychopath who by all indication enjoys murder and brutality.
Don't know why, but somehow I think we got the sentences wrong on these two. Justice would probably be better served if we switched it up.
Not gonna happen. Just my opinion.

there's way too many people who can't help themselves, and I'm not talking of the poster who shall not be named.
