The Giant, " way of life"........

Doomster : 5/21/2015 7:49 am
Players get hurt during the regular season(why not in the post season? Well, we just don't get there)....

Players get hurt in the preseason.....

Players get hurt at OTA's....

Players get hurt driving their vehicles....

Players get hurt lifting weights.....

If I'm a future player, I don't want to be drafted by the New York Football Giants...
Also, when they give you a timetable

Something posted on another thread yesterday

I thought was interesting. Beatty was injured doing BP's at 515 lbs. it was noted that most OL's usually work out around 350. Was he pushing himself too hard? We're the trainers pushing him too hard? Hopefully Flowers blossoms this preseason. ( pun intended )

the program the Eagles seemed to have so much success with. Put GPS's on the players, listened to forced breaks on the advise of the computer...So we had the worst year ever and the Eagles who had lost fewer hours to injuries than anyone else...were devastated too with most of the O-line out early and Foles out late.
well at any rate
I Love Clams Casino : 5/21/2015 8:18 am : link
something is amiss

I refuse to believe it's all bad luck...there has to be something....this doesn't just happen like this.

How much higher per year are the Giants than the average? I'd guess the average number of player to finish on IR is about 7? The Giants had 22....
Does anyone know what GPS means?
Ivan15 : 5/21/2015 8:22 am : link
In my business, it means Global Positioning Survey. Apparently, that's not what it means to the Giants.

that players get hurt on every team all year long.

Good teams respond positively to it and move on.

I understand what you are saying, but when the Giants lead the league in players getting injured (or are near the top of that list) year after year, it wears on you.
Sure does Eric

There's a difference between someone feeling the pain of Giants' misfortune, and someone else reveling in it.

That's the difference between Eric and Doomster.

Remember this: The Eagles have NEVER had a player injured in a year that they won a Superbowl.

There is nothing wrong with the way the Giants "respond" to their injuries. There is, however, the fact the the Giants and only the Giants have been the most injured team in the league for the past two years. That's not like "players get(ting) hurt on every team all year long." No other team had anything like that.
