It's exactly what you think it is. Just a disaster flick with CGI on top of CGI on top of CGI.

But I gotta say, I enjoyed it. The Rock is such a caricature but he does it well. There's never gonna be another Arnold, but The Rock is doing a great job in that lane. It felt like so many of the characters in "San Andreas" were caricatures, but it seemed intentional so I was cool with it. This movie was so much better than 2012. Just a silly, stupid, fun summer action movie.

And Alexandra Daddario. My goodness. She's just jaw-dropping.
