wholesale changes, ref, pirela, austin, ..maybe a taste of judge or williams in october. Stands are going to be empty by them. Nice going cheapskate Hal, keep peddling those hall of fame seats lol.

Tyler Austin sucks. He's not coming up anytime soon.

Heathcott started fast, which is why he's in the bigs. Flores also got off to a good start and could be better than Beltran now, but they're reluctant to make that move.
Young can't play LF? Gardner would've had that ball. Now it's 4-2 because of that. Can't knock Girardi for much consider what he has to work with but not putting Gardner in center seems silly to me.
Flores appears to be the classic AAAA OFer and Austin isn't a good enough hitter to make the team without a position on D.
Heathcott needs to take advantage because Williams is inching back up and Judge is on the horizon. There is already basically no room. Thankfully for him Young is cooling off.
anyone expected this team to keep up a .650 winning percentage throughout the summer with their stop-gap pitching staff and with half the lineup batting .190, but who would have guessed when they were 21-12 two weeks ago that they'd be at .500 before they'd win their 23rd game?
Rangers team and at home on Bernie Williams day. I saw the writing on the wall for this team after they lost 3 out of 4 in Tampa I said they would be under .500 by June well with the AL champs coming to town they will be under .500 in 15 hours. That good stretch they had was a fucking fluke, they will be a 4th place team when it's all said and done.
RE: i saw cashman is loosing stubborness with drew Â
i bet refsnyder is next. What else offensively does he have to prove at AAA?
Where did you see that. I read just the opposite.
Now, in late-May, Drew is still scuffling at the plate and playing solid defense, and, for the first time, Cashman indicated Drew’s job may not be set in stone. “(Drew has) got rope, but if someone pushes his way into the mix, so be it,” said Cashman to Joel Sherman yesterday. “I am open to having Drew all year or someone else taking this if they can. I can’t predict what is going to happen.” - See more at: http://riveraveblues.com/#sthash.Od1KOCyp.dpuf
to "take it"? I'm practically taking the job at this point. I could probably work some walks and get a higher OBP.
And we're officially in the worst losing slump since 1995. I was wondering the other day if we've had a streak this bad since the 96 World Series. Kind of sad, really. I think the thing that baffles the hell out of me is how this offense routinely scores in the first inning and then does nothing for the rest of the game. How often it happens almost seems statistically impossible but they keep doing it. It must be a mental thing with the players, I guess. I have no idea how it happens so much.
Looks like it's on the wall facing in, opposite all the others. Did they run out of space? They should've left more room when they built it knowing more numbers would be added relatively soon. Can 51 be seen from the field? I didn't see the unveiling or game.
1. Gardner LF
2. Headley 3B
3. Rodriguez DH
4. Tex 1B
5. McCann C
6. Jones RF
7. Young CF
8. Gregorius SS
9. Pirela 2B
Capuano on the mound and Jones in the lineup... ugh. At least get a win on Bernie Williams Day.
I wish he was out there instead of Jones.
I don't want to hear anything about Refsnyder's defense as a reason why he shouldn't be up. He can't be any worse than these guys defensively.
Pirela is here now and he sucks.

Mets lost like 9-1, got swept in PIT.

Mets are garbage, as are the yankees
