TB's skill could just overpower the team in either of these two games. Our top four defensemen have been awful at some point this series - every single one of them. McDonagh needs to play as well as he did in the last two periods in game five.

Also, Lundqvist is due for a shutout. Two of them, in fact.

Washington was never going to run away with a game. Those games were always going to be low scoring affairs.

I think Lundqvist is going to have to be 98 Hasek us to the SCF these last two games.

I think playoff experience is wildly overrated, but we can hope it's a factor if the Rangers push it to seven.

We have to keep them funneled outside and hold them to lower quality shots. They look to do the same thing on most rushes.. they swing the puck over to a wing, cut under and the winger slashes across the middle and rips it on net from directly in front with traffic there. On power plays they're always looking for that snipe from the right circle.

Need to meet them closer up near the blue line rather than keep backing up so deep.

has been that Washington missed a lot of scoring chances and didn't work the puck as well to find the open man. TB has done it very well and the PP has been damn good.

That makes them dangerous in either of the next two games. I'm also not as confident as I was against WASH. I actually thought we'd take the series down 3-1. Here - not so confident, but it definitely is doable.

My heart still says Rangers in 7 - every time we've been due with a kid, one of my teams delivered a title - Feb 08 Giants, Feb 12 Giants... we're due with final #3 in September... and I really wanted NYR to deliver so i could name the boy Henry.
