NFT: New York Rangers @ Tampa Bay Lightning, Game 6, 8pm

arcarsenal : 5/26/2015 8:38 am
Sorry, 'Nak.. but this isn't the place to play roulette.

Whoever jumped off the wagon and quit already, stay off. This is a difficult spot to be in but hardly an impossible one. The entire perception of the series changes if we win this one game and get back to MSG for a Game 7.

That's it. One game. Take it one shift at a fucking time. It's not impossible and it's not something this team can't do. Tampa doesn't want anything to do with coming back to NY. They've basically said as much. They know.

We can do this. Let's fuckin' go.

Why the extra day until Game 7?

Just curious why they aren't playing Thursday...not that the Rangers can't use the rest...

We clearly dodged one there MAB. Good thing arc stepped up and didn't settle for any panicky line changes.

The Nash-Brassard-Miller line crushed it.

Game 1: graduation party on Saturday, no chance to get on BBI (Rangers win)
Game 2: home with some time to post (Rangers lose)
Game 3: home with some time to post (Rangers win)
Game 4: Watching it at a bar, no chance to get on BBI (Rangers win)
Game 5: Cleaning up the house after Memorial Day, plenty of time to post (Rangers lose)
Game 6: Did a lot of paperwork during the game, no chance to post (Rangers win)

Little behind the thread. Good to see the King! That save on Stamkos was the best save I can remember by Hank. Great save in a big time spot in a big time game. Can't think that Bishop is going into game 7 in NYC feeling too good about himself.

Is there some reason they can't play game 7 on Thursday? Anyway...

LGR!
Other than the Rangers scoring a touchdown tonight
B in ALB : 5/26/2015 11:18 pm : link
They weren't good. I thought we were better. For 28.4 minutes we controlled the ice between the blue lines and Bishop was playing above average in goal despite us losing 2-1 after two. I thought we were better. Better all around. They didn't do much other than what we allowed them to have. Doesn't matter now. We'll go to NY and dominate them again.

have the guts to do that so it would probably be Glass or Sheppard. Unfortunately for them, they wouldn't deserve it because both have played well throughout the playoffs. It's a shame. The only forward I can honestly say is playing badly is future HOFer, Marty St. Louis. He needs to sit if for no other reason than to get a much-needed rest, but it won't happen.

But it's probably all moot because it seems like Zucc won't be ready to play by Friday night anyway.

No matter how it looks sometimes, this is a large sample at this point, they get it done when their backs are against the wall.

Huge game from the top line. Brass is big time. Nash played his ass off and JT has been strong all playoffs and finally was rewarded.

Now game 7 to go to the Stanley cup final. You know Hank is gonna show up. Can't wait.

Whatever happens in game 7, I love this team.

They've got some Eli/NYG in them (well, NYG of 07-11). They never quit, they never say die, they never give up. I love it.

I doubt Zucc plays on Friday, but it'd make a big difference him on the ice. MSL looks absolutely cooked. Zucc going back to his rightful place on the first line improves all of our lines.

I'm praying that Hank goes into hockey-god mode in Game 7. We need him to control this next game, and the King is due for a shut out. The team is playing their ass off, but I'm not confident that they'll put together a solid offensive output considering how hot and cold they've been.

I wonder how much experience will factor into Game 7. The Rangers are a battle tested that's been here before. Lightning did play the Islanders in ia game 7, but the stakes are totally different here. On the other hand, I feel like the Rangers are playing with fire. by constantly putting themselves in do or die mode. Eventually, it's going to catch up with us tomorrow - I just hope it's not going to be Friday (or any time in this playoffs for that matter).
if Zuccs does come back

played Detroit in a game 7, not the Islanders.

And they were very fortunate to win that game. Ice was tilted to their end most of it, Bishop played well and they got the bounces. Detroit did everything but score
