"These five offensive players can use this initial set of OTAs as an opportunity to establish key roles within the Giants' offense for themselves..."

Is the most interesting to me. Not only a dark horse but unusual size and athleticism. We know who Vereen and D. Harris are and basically what they can do (A lot I hope). Jones is a backup. Obviously Flowers has some things to show.
I'll go with Flowers

If he can demonstrate grasp on LT during OTA, it potentially erases many questions for this franchise in 2015.

Agree with that. Interesting discussion on the other guys, though.

and LaCosse could bump Fells and Robinson off the roster. I'd be surprised if at least one of those two didn't make the 53.

If both TEs can catch, wouldn't that make Donnell the expendable TE since he can't block and has fumblitis?
Unless injuries hit the position...

I think Donnell and Fells are the clearcut top two on the depth chart with LaCosse and Robinson battling for the # 3 job. If LaCosse wins, then there is an open spot for Tye on the practice squad. If La Cosse's loses the #3TE job to Robinson, then it's between La Cosse and Tye for the practice squad with LaCosse the favorite.
Coughlin has off and on again

flirted with an H-back. Tye might surprise in that roll.
Tye's a little short for a te which may be part of why

he wasn't drafted. But he's got good speed and good moves in the open field. If he can block, he can really help this offense.

It's not just that he wasn't drafted, he wasn't even a priority undrafted free agent. He had to win a spot in rookie camp. And this from a weak TE class. So my money is on LaCosse when it comes to which of the two will be battling Robinson for the third TE job. I'm guessing Tye is more of a candidate for the practice squad.

p.s.-- I wish both LaCosse and Tye luck because I've thrown in the towel on Robinson. But until they put the pads on and start hitting and being hit, the OTA's and minicamps are just a red herring.
I think Tye...

...ends up a FB if he makes it in the NFL.
Donnell is more an hback than traditional
