Calling all Jonny Quest fans... It looks like the classic animated series from the 1960s is the latest fan-favorite to venture into the world of live-action films. Warner Bros. is taking on the project with Robert Rodriguez (of Spy Kids, Sin City and Machete fame) signing on to direct the movie, according to Deadline. He and Pirates of the Caribbean screenwriter Terry Rossio will both write the screenplay... |
I hope Rodgriquez does't try to make it Spy Kids
The most important thing is it needs to be set in the early 60's not update to today .
In the 80s an independent comic book company called COMICO
did a series on Jonny Quest . They got the artist that did the original
character studies for the cartoon to draw the comic
they were amazing because they built on and expanded what was in the cartoon
If they are smart they would go back and read these books
Of course I'll see it.
