Torrag, they looked pretty good without Lee last year - and a large part of the was McClain

I will agree they played hard for Marinelli and were improved. McClain was an asset to a team for maybe the first time in his troubled career.

The most overhyped defensive player last year. He was not that good. If he went anywhere but to Dallas and the hype machine he would be looked at as marginal at best. Bruce Carter played light years better than McClain

Sean Lee is the guy - but he is like Beason right now except he was not as healthy coming out of college

That's not the type of 6th year player you worry about.

Wow. You are so wrong.

McClain was easily the defensive MVP for Dallas last year. It was McClain's intensity and leadership that were one of the reasons the Dallas defense improve dramatically over the previous year.

Carter on the other hand was inconsistent, like he has been since Dallas drafted him. There were games where he would be the best player on defense and others where he would just disappear or just play poorly. This is the main reason that he now plays for Tampa Bay.

ProFootballFocus had McClain rated at 14.9(2nd best on the defense) and Carter rated at -10.2(2nd worst on the defense). Completely different ends of the spectrum.
