I loved the show and can't wait for the movie! Would of been awesome to see Eli in it, Tom Brady is his replacement. Wonder why Eli bailed on this. Link - ( New Window )
Other articles that said it was for the movie.... It would of been a cameo, wouldn't of taken too long to do lol. Not a big deal but it would of been cool, I also read something that said Dave deihl will be in the movie.
were fantastic, and then it turned into a complete and unwatchable train wreck. Once the show needed more material, they had to expand upon each character. Unfortunately, having to do this exposed the four main guys as limited one-note actors that any character exposition about them in later seasons were cringeworthy.
I have never seen a show have such a sudden and dramatic nosedive.
Brady had a couple cameos that were allegedly supposed to be Eli.
Marky Mark is a Pats fan. IIRC they wanted Brady
That show should have been called Under The rainbow since 90 % of the cast is under 5 feet.
Ran into Emmanuel Criqui in a coffee shot on S Beach last year. Than k God I had may sun glasses on. Insanely hot in person too.
Wahlberg was one of the shows producers, the shows creator (Dough Ellin, from Brooklyn) said they wanted Eli and he snubbed them, and Brady stepped in at the last minute. read the article.
It was good and then became lame but still entertaining (to me atleast). Show was never short on hot pieces of A.... Also doesn't mean the movie is going to suck.

Couldn't agree more. I wasn't in from the start and borrowed the first three seasons from a friend. I flew through the first two and loved it. Then came the nosedive. I can't remember another show that took such a drastic drop. I never even finished it, I actually have no idea how it ended. I came to dislike the characters so much that I've never even bothered to look it up.
I watched a couple of the early shows. Every woman was used and abused by the characters. It got old very fast and Previn was the only one who could act.
He is also the only one I have ever seen on any other show or movie.
brother had a small role in Platoon. He was the sick SOB who based the old lady's head in. and he said "wow did you ever see a head split open like that".
He essentially played himself in entourage - the brother of a famous actor who was also an actor (struggling). So not much of a stretch.
Ari Gold (and his wife - who I think was Will Ferrell's wife in Old School) had the best scenes.
the show got un-watchable when "E" started to be more involved. He was as unlikable a character and as bad an actor as I've ever seen. and turtle was awful in his role, he was supposed to be the comic relief fat-guy like in a Jonah Hill kind of way, but he was brutal. and the lead actor was terribly cast too.
Kevin Dillon's not quite Frank Stallone or anything
we never over thought it, it was our guilty pleasure. We just took it for the cringe worthy comedy that it was meant to be. Piven was always superb although his melt down season was one of the few times I didn't love the show. Johnny Drama was classic too. I do have to admit when Turtle started scoring hot chicks that was a stretch...LLOYD!!!! BUT WHAT AM I GONNA DO????

Good on you, Eli.
Klaatu I made this thread hoping that you of all people would care </3

Especially Adrian Grenier's character Vince....So Boring.
If the movie was called "Johnny Drama and & Ari" it might be worth watching through Netflix.

Never watched Rescue Me, I take it?
I don't know what season the few episodes of Entourage I watched, but they were awful.
As far as Brady "filling in for Eli", that's OK, as Eli has taken the stage for Tom at least a couple of times previously:
Would have been.
Then it became corny as hell. Unwatchable and at times cringeworthy.

Whoever called them one note actors is spot on.

I'm tempted to see the movie, but will hold off on making a judgment until I see some reviews.
