I'll spare you all from the snarky jokes.
Few notes:
Rangers practice at noon and whether or not Zuccarello will play in Game 7 hinges on his ability to practice.

Avg resale price for Game 7 Rangers-Lightning is $922. Blackhawks-Ducks? $299, according to @TiqIQ.
Our most likely newest Ranger for next year:

#Rangers prospect Oscar Lindberg had breakout postseason for HFD. 3 goals, 13 assists, 16 points in 15 gms. He went 28-28--56 in reg. season
I'm hoping we see a similar trajectory as JT.
the extra room (Cap looking to be $71.5 million next year) should enable us to sign some guys. I'd also move a RHD to open space for one of the rooks we'd otherwise have to waive.
Key question is what Talbot could net in a trade. I have my doubts that a guy with limited history and one year left on his deal could net a #1 or solid top 9 player in return... but if offered by St Louis or whoever, you have to consider it.

Personally, I would move Hayes to the Wing and slot Lindberg in to the 3rd or 4th line C. That would give us Center depth of Brassard/Stepan/Lindberg/Moore. Extremely solid. He's more of a defensively responsible C, but he'll be able to pot a few in the NHL.

Klein has an extremely reasonable cap hit, especially for a 2nd pair guy (3 million). I wouldn't move him. I wouldn't mind moving Girardi and then having Staal and McDonagh pair up. However, I think McIlrath is done with us. I just don't see him fitting AV's up-tempo style with D-Men being good skaters and pitching in.
Future looks bright..
We can spend all summer talking about this shit.
Fuckin' A, guys...

arc, absolutely right, WTF was I thinking??? Poo Poo, salt thrown behind me, warding off the jinx!
But whatever. Hopefully we win tomorrow and see him out there on Wednesday.
Future looks bright..
Maybe, but Lindberg is a much smoother skater and more Brassard like than Moore. Then again, I never thought Fast would be so good in his current role.
Fast has really impressed in Zucc's absence.
Future looks bright..
Could be, but Tambo probably starts next year in Hartford and Buchanan will still be in Russia. Moore will still be under contract.
Had both defensemen and the goalie completely fooled.

Hard to believe that Miller was actually a healthy scratch not so long ago. He and Fast have really had coming out parties in these playoffs. I expected really good things from Miller, though.
That line was just killer. Brassard has become a big time player. Can't wait to see them back at it tomorrow night.
Yes
My concern with McIlrath is that having him, Girardi and Staal would mean half of the defense is really slow.
Haha, I saw that. I called him "Buch" and my cell autocorrected to Buchanan. Fucking awesome name
Do we need Tanner Glass? No, but we could use him
He has. But to be fair to the crtics, he did also build up a healthy reserve of deserved shit over the course of the season.
He's also a playoff performer. When he was in the top Swedish league, he won the equivalent of their Conn Smythe.
If by "very well" you think 1 point in 18 games, a minus 1 rating overall, and about 14-15 sheltered shifts (9-10 minutes) per game is good..... then that's fine..... but your bar is set very low.
I actually think he takes less shit than he deserves. He was absolutely horrific for most of the regular season. People havent been shitting on him much during the playoffs, but more often than not he's just been good for Tanner Glass, not good overall.
He was a -12 in the regular season on a Presidents' trophy winning team. 5 on 5, the opposition outscored NY 2:1 when he was on the ice. He flashed a pathetic Corsi% of 43.5.
What exactly do you do here Tanner?

I'd love to hear his thoughts on McIlrath. I suspect he'll be the 7th dman next year unless he's traded.
So, he's only about eight behind McDonagh in that department.
(Hagelin also knocked Brian Boyle on his ass LOL)
You think Pitt is still paying him? I wouldnt guess that.
It can't be overstated how much MSL has brought down other members of his lines. It's not coincidence that Nash is playing better now that MSL is finally gone.
For a coach, the season ends as soon as his season ends but for a GM or president of hockey operations, the draft is the cutoff for in-season/offseason.
It's ridiculous. A third round pick is still a good draft choice. To get it for a guy you fired is ridiculous.

Is there a rule or situation that Holland and that organization won't whine about? They are unbearable.
Coaches get paid after they're "fired" because it's a guaranteed contract. So technically they still work for the team and have just been relieved of HC responsibilities.
That's nuts. People are betting on Hank, I hope he's got more magic in him.
Mats Zuccarello skated in a non-contact jersey this morning at #Rangers' optional morning skate. He will not play in #Game7 tonight.
