Eli is on his last year, Wilson is not in a rush to sign in Seattle, both hit the open market potentially next Spring. Is it feasible that Wilson is a potential target of Reese and Co.? Outlandish yes, but Wilson's reluctance to re-sign and the Giants unwillingness to grant Eli an extension at age 34 may end up overlapping. The money we'd pay Eli would go to Wilson, and this offense has its caretaker for another 10 years.
The thought crossed my mind. Wilson would be a mega star in this market and even with his SB win he's a relative non entity bc he lives in Seattle. Pair him up with OBJ and good luck stopping it. Someone having to watch Wilson in the pocket and hope OBJ doesn't get behind the defense, good luck with all that. It's a pipe dream but it's not 100% implausible with how things stand with both players.
