BBI Ad issues on Mobile - a small fix

I'll let you know of any issues if they come up but I've had no problems on my iPhone...I know this is probably some tedious work for you. Fix one thing, and then find another issue on another device, etc. Thank you for that

but this thread and a few other the past few minutes have been fine while on my iPhone.

The ad issue no longer exists on my Galaxy Tab 4. I'll check my other mobile devices in the AM.

on my iphone both in portrait and landscape mode as of like 730 tonight, but just checked again and it's fine now in both portrait and landscape

I can't see half of Gary's post do to the ads. I just switched back to iPhone on Monday. Wasn't an issue on my Galaxy.

seeing the issue on my iPhone.

New Issue: I am reading the thread titled "The NYG Problem: Eagles and Cowboys. As I am reading the thread (several page downs) my screen keeps refreshing back to the beginning of the thread. It appears to happen as the Ad on the screen refreshes. Anyone else have this issue? It has never happened to me before.

The ads are no longer covering up the right side of posts and the left side is visable.

Now most of the thread is OK, but the OP still gets covered.

iPad, Samsung Galaxy S4 phone and iPhone are all clear of issues on my end.

However, the white space I've been mentioning is gone!

Gary, it does not appear to be Ad specific. It happened a couple of minutes ago, the Ad was AMCPE. I was on another thread and the Ad was for RESOLVE. It the top ad box (there are 2 Boxes it's the one above the other.

Is when the audio on one of these add's spontaneously starts running without any prompting. There is no pause on these things and I ultimately either have to turn of the sound on my computer or abandon the thread.

No worries but . . . .

is the exact same that I see in many BBI pages using my Motorola Droid, This has been happening for more than a week now.

...on a 5S. TRied emptying out cache files, but it comes back on every thread, and has been for about 10 days now. Doesn't happen on my laptop.

I run both Firefox & Chrome and the ads at the bottom - two of them - are now gone!

I made a couple more tweaks.

For me, it's happening on every thread now. Using my iphone.

frustrating because when I look at the site on my wife's older Droid, it's fine.

Is fixed from what I can tell. Why not push it live? Let's make this thing more iterative because the current site is totally unusable

It's because while the site is mostly unusable to you on your particular mobile device, it does not appear to be affecting most users. For example, everyone I know who I can reach I have asked to look at the site and they can't replicate what you are seeing (although obviously at least a few other BBIer's are having the problem).

But when we've tinkered with things on the live site, it has caused other issues.

On random threads...I got a Samsung Galaxy S4.

...please let me know if you're trying the dev site and if that's any better or worse.

Just FYI, you can use the the dev site for all corner forum functions. You can browse, login, post, etc. Both the main and the dev corner read from the same database.

on the first page of this thread. When I am reading a thread, I keep jumping back up to the top of the thread. It appears to happen when the ad changes or refreshes. It's frustrating because it just began on friday morning, May 29th.

I can't get through a thread without jumping back to the beginning as I'm reading.

Did you try it on the development site?

iPhone 5S

On my iPhone 6s.....since Friday when I open any thread.....the text is now super large making the whole thread very crammed and hard to read. Prior to Friday....I don't recall such issues. I'll try the developement site now.
