This is what it's about, boys. Doesn't matter that we trailed this series 1-2 or 2-3. Doesn't matter that we won the last game or scored 7 goals. What matters is winning one hockey game tonight. That's it. Win one game and give ourselves another shot at taking care of what we couldn't last year.
I don't need to pump anyone up for this shit. If you love this team, your heart has been racing since the second you woke up. You know what's at stake, you know how unbelievably huge this game is. You know what's on the line.
If you're looking for a good omen, today's date is May 29th. On May 29th, 2014, the Rangers defeated the Canadiens at MSG to punch their ticket to the SCF. It was exactly a year to the day. Same venue. Let's get the same result.
Let's fucking do this.
#game7day
The non-empty net goals in this series are NYR 20, Tampa 19. Tampa is 2-1 in this building in this series, and 4-1 on the year.... despite that they were an under .500 club on the road during the season.
And you're getting about 1.5 your money to bet on them.
Vegas is begging and daring people to bet against Hank tonight.
Let's Go Rangers!
We need to score 4 goals tonight - can't rely on Hank every game 7. We need other heroes too.
But I'd still rather see them win easy.
Rangers Goal Song - ( New Window )
Get. It. Done. Let's Go Rangers!!
Man I wish we re-signed this guy. What a clutch goal.
Who is this guy? - ( New Window )
More D. Slow Tampa down and unleash the beast! More Nash, Miller and Brassard. I'd love to see a goal from Glass. Wouldn't that be a kick to the head?
Fucks sake.. is it 8:00 yet?
As Brassard so aptly put it in the Game 6 post game interview, "we've been working all year for home ice and our fans deserve a Game 7".
Let's all do what we can as fans to be the very best we can for the team we bleed blue for. Get it done, any means necessary!
For those who are going, see you at MSG and Let's Go Rangers!!!

Mats Zuccarello skated in a non-contact jersey this morning at #Rangers' optional morning skate. He will not play in #Game7 tonight.
Having said that, I'll be hoping he's good to go for Game 1 of the SCF.
I just want to tell the boys good luck. We're all counting on you.
The dmen will do what they do. Tampa is just fantastic at passing within the offensive zone. There is only so much our guys can do. Again, the forwards need to be on the ball there, because they are the ones who can really clog things up (since they dont have to guard the net mouth).
AV remains even-keeled at all times regardless of circumstance and he always seems to be a calming presence. Never panics, never gets ahead of himself. The focus is always on the task at hand.
With Cooper, you can just tell the guy has never been here before. He just seems very defensive and "yeah, well! We'll show them!"
Tampa is an excellent team, they're dangerous, they're going to be very tough to beat.. but I am very comfortable knowing who is behind our bench and also in our net.
I think he can become a really good coach and maybe he is right now. But you can just tell this is new territory and he's kind of ebbing and flowing with the outcomes of the games whereas with AV, he's just one guy regardless of the outcome.
Like I said, it may mean nothing at the end of the day. I just thought Cooper really let his frustration show after Game 6 and he looked like a kid who didn't get what he wanted. It just didn't look professional at all.
I know the numbers point to us, but something about the Rangers makes me never confident. Tampa is a fucking awesome team, and they are fully capable of beating us handily - let alone winning a close game.
We need our king to go into god-mode. Cmon Hank, cmon...
