Looks like a completely different person. Holy crap:
I know athletes lose some weight after they retire, but this might be the biggest loss of weight I've seen from a former athlete to retired athlete possibly ever. Good for him. His knees and back must feel a ton better.
Pre or post weed operation?
So you were expecting Matt Birk
Similarly, I have a coworker who played D-1 center, he said he played at 290-300, now he's 6-1 and about 225
I asked him how he dropped the weight, he said serious commitment to exercise and eating right. And that he'd stopped taking steroids.
But what's with the dress?
Post of the year so far.

Goes for the rest of the linemen posted, too.

Maybe not that 'ripped' - but Snee's arms and legs look the same size as mine from that picture.
Excellent point as always, Greg.
And shep's line was fantastic.
Chris Snee, retired version. Weighs in the 235-240 range these days...

He looks a lot thinner than that.

I agree. Maybe it's the angle that the photo was taken in? *shrug*
Was going to say earlier that TC is impressed with Snee's self-discipline. :)
2) This is probably a good example of how unnaturally large the players are. It is supplements both legal and illegal that keep these guys well over 300 pounds.
3) It is not just the elimination of steroids that gets him down to his current weight. To get into the shape he is in, it probably took more discipline than in his playing days in terms of diet and exercise.
There. I feel better.
When I met Franco, he looked like a normal man in great shape. That's the 1st thing I thought of when I saw Snee.
Snee looks great but that is pretty telling, IMO.
