I thought I'd create a thread on cool album cover art.

I'll start with the cover art for Kansas' "Monolith" album.

Not sure how to post the picture.

If you really like that artwork/style .... check out Nagel. Seems like miley's photographer might have been influenced a little bit.

BUT, the guy who painted the "Molly Hatchtett" covers is amazing (IMHO).

I watched a documentary of his life/work .... it was pretty interesting - went WAY beyond album covers. I can't remember where I saw it though (Netflix?).

I think King Crimson is the first band to display the 'Shocker', but yet they don't get any credit for it.
