Zacha has excellent size and speed which is much needed. He is raw and will probably now make the team for at least a year but a good pick for the Devils.

Darren Dreger reported it. It doesn't get much more reliable than Dreger.

Sather in the past has taken bad contracts so perhaps he actually learned that taking a bad contract in order to attain an asset is not always the way to go.

He will fuck this up, just like he fucked up the Callahan trade, one of the worst I can ever remember.

I assume they try to bottom out and trade Bergeron, Krejci, and Rask. Only way they can get an elite pick.

We took a shot, came close and fell just short. Sometimes you have to take chances.. shit happens.

They went to the Finals and would've gone this year if their blue line all didn't get hurt at the same time. I don't know how you blame that on Sather.

Primarily visual observation of his performance.

I actually dont know what his value is because of the upcoming UFA. But he has been very, very good in his 53 starts. .931 save percentage over two seasons is no joke, and he really stepped up when he was forced to be the #1 goalie. We have an offer of multiple #2s according to several reports, and supposedly #31 plus a dman. The problem in getting a #1 seems to be that the teams that really want him are in the middle of the round and not in the mid/late 20s.
