attempts to upgrade STs, and fails overall. Meanwhile Quinn has more 'ffin lives than an alley cat. Somehow I can't imagine our STs overall will be above average yet again. And we need to find DeOssie's replacement LS, soon. He's diminishing returns, at this stage, I fear.
1- Dwyane Harris is going to make a huge difference - he is a true table setter that will help with field position in both directions and he will fire the team up.
2- The Cowboys made a huge mistake letting Harris go - huge to the extent that he is going to make the game longer for the Cowboys and they have lost a very valuable player and will be hard pressed to replace him. The combination of losing Murray and Harris is going to cost the Cowboys at games this year - hopefully the Giants are the beneficiary of this too.
1. Continuing with Quinn is beyond silly at this stage. Not to say he is too blame for the players he is given, but at some point you make change for the sheer fact that this path isn't working.
2. Specials should be somewhat better with continued investment in younger secondary, more mobile LBs that play specials and Dwayne Harris.
3. I am concerned our Special Team play will drag Dwayne Harris down to their level.
ST Speed is improved all over - that in itself should bring better results
As the article mentioned, Harris is decisive when returning punts - been a while since the Giants had a decisive returner. The fact that he is also a coverage ace is a big deal
In a salary cap world you understand Dallas can't keep him, but this is a big deal to lose a player like him on ST. He can flip field position

Speed and athleticism are improved big time so no excuses.
The more I look at our Special Teams, the happier I am
If we can win the battle of field position it will go a long way to our having a winning season.
I hope WR D. Harris breaks a few, especially against our NFC East foes! I'd love for him to light up Dallas week 1. There is no doubt the Cowboys will miss him this season.
Anybody speak Jive?

The prevailing opinion among many Giants fans is that four non playoff seasons in a row should spell Coughlin's doom.
