As an OF, Gardner is better than that, and he needs to take charge on Correa 2B (HR) and in the Gattis triple, looking at it again, he played that horribly as well.

But Gardy has to catch that ball. Girardi said after the game that they were both calling for it but couldn't hear each other. True or not you can't have Jones out in left. Questionable lineup decision to say the least

since he is the CF. Awful play by both guys but I put more blame on Gardner. His boot on the ball after the drop turned a double into a run for extra insult.
