Damn. There's a Ben and Jerry's graveyard for discontinued flavors ? Learn something new every day.
Come on up and visit it at the Factory Store in Waterbury, VT. Worth a trip, even if B&J sold out to the Man years ago. Flavor Graveyard - ( New Window )
but theres an ice cream truck in Philly that makes a bourbon vanilla bean that is without a doubt the best ice cream I've ever had. They take bourbon vanilla beans (never knew they existed) and soak them in Makers Mark before grinding them up for the ice cream. Its not gonna give you a buzz but theres enough bourbon in it to warm your mouth, which fells a little strange given you're eating ice cream.

I got an ice cream maker with a compressor for Father's Day, and it's not good. Nothing you get out of a freezer compares to what this thing can crank out. I'm just glad the volumes it generates are small, otherwise we'd all be on fat watch.
My favorite growing up was Baskin Robbins peanut butter n chocolate
My go to these days is usually chocolate chip...also love coffee
A special nod to orange sherbet chocolate chip from Wegmans...a few gallons of that plus binge watching the first 5 seasons of 24 once got me through a tough breakup about 8 years ago.
Ben and Jerry's
haagen dazs chocolate chocolate chip
Ben & Jerry's Dastardly Mash (RIP)
Ben & Jerry's: Coffee Toffee Bar Crunch (never had it when it was Heath bar), Salted Caramel Core

Is my Coffee Heath Bar Crunch in their fucking graveyard?

+1. So fucking good. Rarely have it since the wife buys the ice cream and she goes for lighter fare (Edy's). Probably a good thing.
Breyers oreo blast
Turkey hill party cake

I'm also talking about 40 years ago. It was a big deal for us to go there. Normally, we just went to Carvel on Hicksville Rd.
Any ice cream meeting this criteria is excellent
There is no such thing as bad ice cream.
The best of the best though with no particular brand:
Pistachio, Rocky Road, Heavenly Hash, Black Cherry. I could eat it by the half gallon.
Nothing better.

In fact, most Wegmans brand favors were delicious
