A source told Sporting News at the opening of free agency that the Knicks have major interest in Beverley, and that the interest is mutual. The Knicks contacted Beverley shortly after free agency began.
Andre Miller, Rod Strickland, Terry Porter, Sam Cassell, Avery Johnson
Lol, yeah ok. Aldridge just wants one last stroke to his happy ending he's been getting from teams as he's never experienced this and will never experience this again. Kind of like Melo last year.

Do you mean that in a good way or bad way?
Tim looks every bit the NBA shooting guard. He is exactly the kind of draft pick that fans love on draft night because he looks like he should be a good player. And then you find out that he doesn't really do a whole lot.
Grant seems to actually be a basketball player.
Sources: LaMarcus Aldridge is very likely to strike a deal with the San Antonio Spurs.
That's not me being a pessimist either, I think the Knicks have a really good shot at getting Monroe.
Osi, I think it's impressive that a guy with legitimate PG skills has the size of a prototypical SG.
That's making me worry even more that we are going to lose him.
I dont know what your point is anymore. You said essentially that only transcendent PGs are good after at age 33 and later. That's not true. Yes PGs often decline around this age. As for Calderon last year, he was hurt.
But guarantee whatever you want. There is no accountability on the internet anyway.
A specific meeting yet to take place? Or is every team viewing him as the 3rd domino behind LMA and Jordan, and he agrees/complies?
Forgive me, haven't been very well tuned in today...
You still win dumb comment of the day.
It's stupid, fan talk, I'm fully aware. But he can be a footnote in San Antonio, or be a legend in NY. It's not enough to sway him, but I wish it was.

Monroe had multiple team meetings scheduled. He's not done yet.
Everybody says he's a committed defense, and he has the functional size to be good at it. I thought the actual lone concern about Grant was that he was a pass first, pass second, shoot 3rd PG.
Can he shoot well enough to be an NBA 2?
Even if we had no shot at him, it's kind of demoralizing, even if it's true.
You sound upset, you should go back to that thread where you get to fondle tight nutsacks or whatever you were ranting about.

Unknown. He had 4 teams on his initial list -- NY, LAL, POR, MIL. May meet with more. Things are probably complicated by the fact that he may seek a 1+1, 2+1, or 3+1 deal. So he may be weighing 1+1 in NY vs 2+1 in NY 2+1 in LA (etc.). Then factor in the fact that he probably wants to see what other moves these teams are lining up. Does he want to sign in LA if they sign a pure center (Robin Lopez)? Needs to learn the plan for the team (if any) and meet the coach etc.
Even if we had no shot at him, it's kind of demoralizing, even if it's true.
That wasn't my angle (I really didn't have one) but needless to say I can agree with the hope.
God dammit. We argued Adam Levine and now we are pointing out grammar issues. Can this stop? Or can something happen with the Knicks already?
After the "insults" you've thrown at me, I'll need a little more than a tissue.

Torrags performance on this thread and that contract merit the same response
I can't believe how awful of a contract that is.
