regardless of who's playing Sarah Connor. The premise sucks, the action looks terrible, and it's a franchise that's failed since T2. No reason to actually think it would be good.
why they casted Jai Courtney after failing with Sam Worthington in Salvation. I always felt like Courtney was just the shittier version of Worthington, who's pretty shitty himself.
original Terminator was a great. Fantastic action, memorable lines, and Arnold was the perfect killer cyborg. Even a good love story. T2 had revolutionary special effects, and the liquid metal man was a really cool villain. T3. No thanks. Salvation? Eh. OK. But why? And now a reboot. Terminate it please.
It's universally (although, according to some apparently not) accepted as one of the best action/sci-fi movies of ALL TIME. Could also be the best sequel ever. Revolutionary special effects that still hold up to this day and characters you actually cared about.
I can't stand Furlong, and that film has a lot to do with it.
I read a review yesterday of this film that said it was basically the same story as the first film, but much worse execution and really didn't need to be made.
RE: Well that's the first time I've ever seen anyone say T2 sucked

Compared to T1, T2 absolutely sucked. Good grief was Furlong annoying.
too, its almost a scfi horror film. But when you first saw T2 you didn't know the T800 would be a good guy. It was a twist and T2 was a really good film. I have this dispute at work all the time. Someone said its like the Godfather part 1 and part 2 to him.
But this movie, I loved the first 30 min and then after that it just kinda went down hill. Could of been really good if the acting was a lot better. Both Emila and Jai were horrendous.

The Empire Strikes Back. The real discussion is about which sequel is a distant second place.
The first two were the only good ones.
T2 sucked? Blasphemy. I would say I preferred T1 to T2 but they're both classics.
Than they bring back the T800 from the first film, they could of brought back the blue haired punk to do the job.
As far as this one, I knew it would suck. I have no interest in seeing it.
"I'm a cybernetic organism. Living tissue over a metal endoskeleton."
Thanks for the warning.
This is correct. I liked T2 as a kid but the truth is the story is incredibly dumb.
It only works in the first one, which is a superb movie.

Imdb user reviews are pretty kind to this latest one but the consensus from critics is its bad. Bummer...
