The Knicks have reportedly come to an agreement with Derrick Williams on a two-year, $10 million deal.
The Knicks are grasping at straws hoping that Williams can contribute meaningfully at the NBA level. Outside of dunks and the occasional 3-pointer, Williams struggles across the board at every other aspect of the game. Even if he was granted significant minutes in New York, he should not be on the radar in standard leagues.

I don't know if they can keep Joseph and manu
You also don't want him playing scared in fear his ass will get planted to the bench if he messes up. It's a two way street.
Novak got 18-20 minutes a night here, so if he cant at least fill that role as a rookie we have a lot to be worried about. Im hoping for like 20-25 mpg as a sub, with starts and more minutes towards the end of the year.
Oh he was horrid. But at least he played decent minutes.

At 22 mpg is quite impressive

I'm genuinely impressed that the Jazz managed to give him that many minutes with how bad he was. Good on them. It's a lot easier to say it than actually do it.
Two exciting rookies, three FAs, Melo's return, cap space next year. Things are looking up. Going to try to watch as much summer league ball as possible.
Charlotte handled Vonleh very poorly. They gave a washed up bet Marvin Williams minutes that they could've given to Vonleh. Let him out there and figure shit out as he goes. Was disappointed on how Charlotte handled him and Zeller, tho they gave Zeller more responsibility this year and he showed improvement. I hope Portland continues to develop Vonleh properly.
Add Fabolous to the list of New York Knick fans completely flabbergasted by team president Phil Jackson’s decision to use the fourth pick in the 2015 NBA Draft on Latvian forward Kristap Porzingis. The Brooklyn emcee shared his thoughts on the selection with HipHopDX's Cherise Johnson during Roc Nation and Samsung’s private event during BET Awards Weekend.
“I didn’t really see it,” Fabolous said. “I don’t got a crystal ball or nothing, but that wasn’t the pick that I saw. I hear the Knicks have a different plan, but I thought they would grab one of the Duke or Kentucky kids—one of the young ballers and give the city a little bit more faith that it’s gonna be a change from last year. I think they traded Tim Hardaway, Jr. It’s a couple different moves. I don’t have the right understanding of it, but maybe they know something that I don’t know.”
It was the worst year for him to be a 1 and done. There were no shooters aside from Yogi on the roster and he'd get doubled in the post almost every time, but he wasn't disciplined and would just bowl over defenders and rack up offensive fouls. He's one heck of a rebounder and defense though, which is baffling to me why he didn't receive any minutes in Charlotte even if his offensive game was stil under development.
Stupid autocorrect
FABOOOOOOOO - ( New Window )
He's a 3 and D guy who doesn't have the 3 yet. High energy, great defensive effort, can run the court. Offense stanks but I think IF he can improve from 3 he can be interesting. If not he's just an extra guy.
I DUNNO WHAT IMMA DO BUT IMMA DO IT - ( New Window )
I dunno, I watched him a few times last year and it seems like his handle is below average for a guy who doesn't have a big time shot from the outside. He's aggressive offensively, confident but I think he's going to have trouble scoring on the NBA level without an improved jumper
Afflalo

Anyone else? Or are all the rest of last year's guys FAs?

Sorry - Calderon too.
Afflalo/Galloway
Melo/early/thanisis(basically)
Williams/KP
Lopez
I think that's it.
I am absolutely astonished that there is anyone at all, let alone Knicks fans, who thought Hardaway was anything other than garbage.

Thanks.
I think a lot of people liked him at about $4 million, so 6 for 2 years isnt particularly out of line. When he wasnt qualified at 5.5, you had to figure the market was set below that.
Lol, 1-5 and 2 points is balling out?
